I must admit, the only one I ever used was the network one, to prove to the lady at the other end that their 3G coverage charts were fucking shit.

Just got an email telling me the 7" Novo 7 Aurora is now down to $136.
It's a nice device, although I rooted and put on a cleaner version of ICS to get rid of the Chinese apps.
Excellent value at that price if you want an Android 4.0 tablet.
I ordered online from here, there's lot of different shipping options, DHL only took 3 days. Only got a front facing camera, but that wouldn't bother me because I normally use the phone or a camera to take pictures, not a frigging tablet.
Much lighter than the Tab, too, but the Battery life seems comparable.

saw the other day people filming their kids in a crowd with their iPad,
they looked absolutely ridiculous in the crowd
I have been looking for a better car mount for the 7" ainol nova 7 advanced.
I have one of the 160 baht units from pantip , but with the roads over here being so fcuked , it does have a habit sometimes of bouncing out.
it is still fine after hitting the floor several times
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

'Nuff said.

Fucking iFads. Should have watched porn like Buffon.
England's Euro 2012 goalkeeper Hart prepares for penalties with iPad
But he's then outsaved by Italy no. 1 Buffon, who just watched 'naughty movies'
David Price
The nerve-wracking Euro 2012 quarter-final between England and Italy last night was notable for what we think is the first use of an iPad by an English footballer during a match. Tech fans will have noticed the Apple gadget in the gap between extra time and the penalty shootout.
England and Man City keeper Joe Hart, who had previously boasted of studying every Italian penalty for the last decade, did some last-minute revision on an iPad, brought out by England's backroom staff. But it was to no avail, as the young player failed to stop any of Italy's shots. (Although Riccardo Montolivo fired his penalty well wide of both keeper and goal.)
Italy's Gianluigi Buffon, meanwhile, who according to the BBC commentators had spent his preparation time locked in his hotel room watching 'naughty movies', stopped a weak kick from Ashley Cole, after another Ashley, Manchester United's Young, had fired his kick against the crossbar.
It should be emphasised, however, that other than the shootout, England's young keeper was superb all night, and the team wouldn't have made it to penalties if not for his heroics.
Detailed preparation for penalty shootouts is nothing new, incidentally, even if we haven't seen many players doing this pitchside on an iPad. Nottingham Forest's spot kick.
I missed this sexy little beast.
Asus Taichi unveiled: dual-screen laptop/tablet
By Hannah Bouckley on Tuesday, 5th June 2012
Asus has unveiled a really interesting new device, the Asus Taichi is a notebook/tablet with two screens.
At first glance the Asus Taichi looks like a laptop, but the top includes a built-in screen. So you can use it like a tablet (its got multitouch support) or a conventional laptop, but the screens can also mirror each other. Both screens boast a full HD resolution of 1920x1080 and use IPS technology, promising clear views from a variety of angles.
Unveiled at Computex along with the Asus Transformer Book, the Taichi runs Windows 8 and comes in two sizes: 13.3-inches and 11.6-inches and includes an Intel Core i7 processor and 4GB RAM. Connectivity options include two USB 3.0 ports, Micro HDMI and mini DisplayPort.
We're impressed with the Asus Taichi; it looks like a really intriguing product, although we're not sure who actually needs two screens, but once again Asus has shown how incredibly innovative it is.
Although Asus hasn't revealed details on pricing the Taichi certainly won't be cheap. There's no news yet when it will be arriving in the UK either, but we'll bring you more news when we get it.
"Incredibly innovative" - uh huh.
The Resale Market for Kindle Fires
As we wait for the Google I/O 2012 day-one keynote address to begin, it might be worth noting the resale market for the current market-leading 7-inch tablet, the Kindle Fire. Someone in New York searched Craigslist for Kindles for sale, and found that the going price is well under $100. (Screenshot, for posterity.) Kindle Fires retail for $199. E-ink Kindles suffer no such indignity — it’s hard to find an e-ink Kindle for sale for much less than the retail price of a new one. Same is true for iPads, unsurprisingly.
So is the problem that 7-inch tablets are a bad size, or that the Kindle Fire is simply a bad 7-inch tablet? Or both?
