Over/Under estimating TD's net worth?

This forum has a tiny and shrinking membership and given the general neglect, I doubt much thought or effort goes into SEO; given that, I think it's somewhat unlikely that Sophia is generating $5000 a month for the owner (though even with a vast membership, Sophia would have to be working pretty hard to generate that much surplus.)

TD is dying because there's no host... no landlord to chat to the pubgoing regulars, just anonymong mods. Aside from that, there's the ludicrously unuserfriendly gallery, and the seedy adverts. The whole site is lacking in vision and leadership... It needs a visible "leader/host/mc", and some sensible adverts, and a sensible gallery, and some culling of deadwood pages, and members, and then an effort to go out poaching new members.

Re: the pic posting, I agree that it's a bit of a hassle. I don't like the TD gallery, and having to resize then upload to photobucket is a bit of a pain, esp for slow net connections (like mine). In other forums that I've joined, you just upload pics frm.your comp directly. I could still do a lot of travel pic threads, but the process is a bit of a PIA (pardon my French, lol). I also don't like Sophia & friends. Heh. Sometimes, I think of showing my travel threads to my real-life friends.(esp those abroad who I'm close to, as I don't like to post them on Fb or social networks).l, but the whore ads are just off-putting. But then again, the site has to earn, so... it is what it is.
