Salt is not considered a spice; it is classified as a mineral, meaning it is not derived from a plant like most spices are, and its primary function is to enhance existing flavors in food rather than adding a distinct new flavor like a spice does.
- Spice definition: A spice is a dried plant part used to add flavor and aroma to food.

If Sporty can be a spice then so can salt.
^ Like Ginger but not so hot!
I bet there's been swarms of flies on that hanging beef over the years.
Thank fvck its dried out now though.
Both salt and spices are chemical compounds used to flavour and preserve foods. So its my mistake you infantile and pedantic bunch of imbecilic morons looking to get one up on one of your betters.
Now snub can get back to his vaseline and booze, the ape can carry on cleaning african excrement and cyrille can just fuck off.

If you and the other forum loons can find a small but debateable descriptive error by a fellow poster worthy of so much mirth, merriment and jocularity, it merely proves beyond any doubt whatsoever that you have no life whatsoever and are marooned in a pit of empty unrelieved boredom and despair, glued 24/7 to your screen for stimulation and input which which to repost the habitual and cynical bon mots that identify your rapidly increasing mental decline as you and your brain wither away to the same abysmal level as that of your bugmunching chickenhead neighbours.
Im afraid the jokes on you!

This is going to have ramifications around Africa. At least one of our friends was about to get a job with USAID has been told it’s no longer available. The head of USAID was already given 14 days notice to leave. The big international schools where the US State department pays for their fees (such as at the American schools) will be losing enrolement as their parents either leave the country or need to find alternative occupations, most of which may not provide large houses, cars, schools fees.

Recently videos of thieves stealing from moving cars with open windows or doors were posted on various social media sites here. Guess it embarrassed the police into action.
Car thieves gunned down!
Four suspected criminals, wanted for a series of thefts and aggravated robberies, were shot dead by police following a dramatic chase and armed confrontation in Lusaka.
According to a statement Police , the incident happened on Monday, at around 14:30 hours, when an informant alerted authorities that suspects in a white Toyota Allion (BAJ 6584) had stolen items from a parked vehicle at Crossroads Mall in the Woodlands area. The suspects were seen fleeing towards Kabulonga.
Acting swiftly, officers from the Anti-Robbery Squad and Scorpion Unit tracked the getaway vehicle and intercepted it near Millennium Village. Upon being challenged, the driver attempted to escape, prompting officers to fire warning shots and later aim at the vehicle’s tyres. One suspect sustained a minor injury from a stray bullet before all four were apprehended.
During questioning, police identified the suspects as part of a notorious gang responsible for multiple car break-ins and aggravated robberies across Lusaka. Acting on their confessions, officers were led to Kasupe, where the gang had stashed a firearm and other stolen items.
However, the situation escalated when the unrestrained suspects turned violent. As police retrieved a pistol (without a magazine), one of the criminals lunged at an officer’s rifle, unaware that its magazine had been removed. Despite only managing to fire a single chambered round, the confrontation forced officers to neutralize all four suspects as they attempted to escape.
A search of their vehicle revealed a trove of stolen goods, including:
Four mobile phones (Infinix, Itel, iPhone, Samsung)
One Lenovo laptop (later identified by a victim, Mr. Paul Kalobwe, 53, of Nyumba Yanga)
A camera pen, screwdriver, and T-bars (suspected burglary tools)
A device suspected to jam vehicle locks
Fake registration plates (ABJ 6584 covering AIE 9092)
The bodies of the suspects were taken to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) mortuary for identification, postmortem, and burial.
Further investigations linked the gang to a brutal robbery that led to the death of a Chinese national, Mr. Lee Long, on October 10, 2024.
On that day, Mr. Long, 31, was ambushed by three assailants at Higer Buses Co. (Z) Ltd in Makeni, as he attempted to purchase vehicle spare parts. The suspects dragged him into an unregistered black Toyota Mark 2 and attempted to rob him of an undisclosed amount of money.
Clinging onto his bag of cash, Mr. Long was dragged for 10 meters before being violently pushed out of the moving vehicle. He sustained severe head and body injuries and was rushed to CFB Medical Centre, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

More police action/reaction.
Police nab 12 for thefts at Kafue roundabout
HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu has disclosed that 12 suspects have been apprehended in Lusaka for thefts targeting motorists at the Kafue traffic circle in the Central Business District (CBD). Meanwhile, Mwiimbu has warned that government would not tolerate activities aimed at creating anarchy in the country. Delivering a ministerial statement on the recent thefts in Lusaka’s CBD, Friday, Mwiimbu said some stolen property had been recovered and further urged victims to come forward. “We strongly condemn the recent spate of criminal activities targeting motorists in Lusaka at Kafue Roundabout. The theft of valuables and personal belongings from vehicles is not only a serious crime but also a threat to the safety and well-being of our citizens....
The reality is these muggers have been doing this for years, literally in front of traffic police who are more interested in catching a driver for an infringement at the resultant bribe they will demand. Let’s see if any of this results in real change. I doubt it.
here’s an example Facebook
Anyway, yesterday I didn’t go anywhere near that roundabout.
Sat outside and had a burger for lunch. My daughter joined for a bit.
but once finished eating she went back inside to play some Roblox or some such while I enjoyed the warmth of the sun.
So much so that I started dozing off until the rains suddenly arrived and I had to move.
Honestly beats me. Lack of maintenance could be one answer. Complacency because generally the place is very safe. Many times one doesn’t need AC as the climate is very temperate.
