Yes, but in general I dislike the additional transfer for all the ME airlines, be it Turkish, Qatar, Emirates. The waiting, queues and checkpoints at airports are worse for me than the actual flights. Once I'm on the long haul I prefer to get off at Bangkok.
The big problem with Turkish s the size of the new Istanbul airport and the miles you have to walk.
But they also have metal cutlery.

Agreed the main plus with Thai is transfer on domestic leg and no big queues at Swampy, at C rai my bags were waiting for the 3 foreigners, 10m from touch down to fastest driver in Lanna aka my squeeze

I've only flown with Thai twice and that was to Madrid and back.
I wasn't overly impressed, but that was 15 years ago, so they'd probably be amazing now compared to everything else!
I flew Saudia last year (or, sorry, Chitty did) and they were really good if you can handle no beer for the entire journey. Good entertainment, lots of legroom in cattle class and non-stop food.
I'd fly them again and they seem to be pushing Jeddah (and Riyadh) as a bit of a hub for Asia.
