Bought one for 3 mil two years back and am well happy with the build.
155 sq metres if I'm not mistaken.
Cracking place with 3 floors, 3 beds, 3 bogs, 2 living rooms and kitchen.
Me and the missus can ignore each other for days on end as there is only the 2 of us!
    Few tips about buying though.
You will actually be buying a shell, which means you have to shell out for a 700(ish) liter water tank, water pump, kitchen, yearly maintainence fees (worked out on the size of the gaff) and other bits and bobs that pop up.
I have a tiny western kitchen from ModernForm and that cost me over 150,000k (I think).
The tank and pump was around the 20k mark.
Spent 800,000k on furniture and pretty things.
    All adds up pal.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

You can do a lot better out in Don Muang. Thats a townhouse mate. How many sq. wah? 16-20 it looks like. I have been out here for years and it works, the infrastructure is much better than other bkk areas. Prices are much less, and I would be happy to talk to you and give you some advice.

Please do not pay anywhere near 2 million for a 20 tarang wah house of less than 120 meters. You are paying for expensive land or business mistakes.

Send me a pm and I will call ya. There is so much more out there.

I'm still in the UK aging one, will be out to Thailand later in the year for a few weeks and will be based in Bangkok for the duration minus whatever time i am forced to spend in Buriram (got to have a quick check of my rubber trees) so will be happy to meet up and come have a look over the Don Muang area, basically this thread was just for me to find some websites with the type of thing i'm after as in around the 2 million baht (max) mark.

Similar thing from Thailands biggest construction company .

    http://www.pruksa.com/th/en/search.rhtml

Prices depend a lot on location just as much as size.

Go to the bank websites and follow the directions (in Thai) to repossesions and auctions - you can pick up a 3 floor shop type home (in need of work) for under 1 million, spend 300-400k on it and you have a great house... Many many good buys on the bank websites - my missus bought 2 little 30 SqM rooms for 320k each; they were 10% under the local land office valuation and she needed to get a letter from the bank to prove it was kosher...

I looked at a 400 sqm 3 story home (old townhouse style) just off Jarunsanitwong 21 for 650k. Cheap as... with work, you'd have a lovely home for under 1 million... If the missus pops into me office then I'll get her to add a link or 2. Goodluck.

I hope you don't buy it unseen. I think you'll be in for a bit of a shock with regard to the tiny rooms.

I'd take a look at LT's place first.

    Cheap Condo Websites

    My mate just started dubleyadubleyadubleyadotbangkokcondominiumsdotcom

He's trying to get exactly what you're after (i.e a wide choice - from the cheap central BKK rooms available at 3k per month up to whatever. Like most, he might not make it
but just incase it works - here's the heads up.

DD - it's quite close to christmas - have a heart and let this run.

But if ya don't - no hard feelings
