why Poms(and Thais) are so dumb

Now I see why Poms are such stupid clots, My grown up girls are both currently teachers in England after previously teaching in New Zealand and Australia. They have very strong views about the poor quality of UK state education system, partic when stacked up against the far superior Australasian systems.

I was doing some research to decide which was the better one for my young girls and came across the education ranking in Wikipedia. Which explains a lot for me.
Australia ranks ahead of even the Scandinavian countries whereas the UK ranks dismal 30th.

Not at all mate.

It's called friendly banter and the Aussies, including myself have got better at it giving back as good as we receive.

Just it seems a lot of Poms can't take it back as well as they give it and visa-versa some Aussies.

You get mouthy dickheads from both sides that push the pedal a little too far which turns friendly banter into malicious insults.

You can't take it serious Stronts, the most of it is just hitting out in frustration at not being part of the "great" British bloodline anymore.
The Aussies now have such a diluted ancestry the most of them don't know if they are British, Aboriginal, Asian, or Kiwi. They have no common history to hold on to like the Kiwis or we Brits and as such are a nation of malcontents struggling to find an identity from the distorted fragmented viewpoint of a mongrelized nation.
Thankfully we still allow them to use the Union Jack on their flag to give it some credibility and our Queen as their head of state to cement their nation together and hopefully improve their ailing national psyche by giving them a sense of self worth at having part of the millennia of history and achievements that is part of the being a subject of Her majesty the Queen.
It's not an easy burden to carry but it's one we carry willingly for those less fortunate than ourselves.

Sort of what I said, but got moded.

The teaching standards in the UK have been rubbish for 20 years.
Also the quality of the qualifications dubious at best.

The problem lies with the teachers, and lack of money and over crowded classrooms.
BUT it is only an idiot that thinks that a good teacher could not transend these problems.

Don't understand any of this. I was educated in the UK and I find that I'm vastly superior to just about everybody. Maybe it was the big map of the world on the classroom wall showing two thirds of the world in pink.....including Australia....

I immigrated to the colonies and did not go back for over 20 years....they had taken down the maps and the whole place looked like Bangladesh..... WTF happened??? Was I just because I left???? I feel very guilty.
