Dear forum members, moderators and administrator.

It is with deep regret and not a little sorrow that i sit here in my bedroom trying to drum up the reserve to offer my resignation, a bedroom where I have for the past year or so sat and enjoyed the fun, the banter and the wealth of information offered by this once wonderful forum.
Forgive my lack of coherence, right now my head feels numb, and my body weak at the thought of my departure. For the past week i have barely slept and have consumed far too much whiskey to remain as lucid as i need to be to deliver this message in a manner that the board deserves. For this i apologise and would request your forgiveness.
unfortunately and after much discussion with friends, family and colleagues, I have decided that it is time to go. Where once I found laughter, i find none. where once I found joy, i find sorrow, where once i found knowledge, I find Cantona.

anyway to those that i have shared my time with here and especially to DD for making it all possible in the first place, I say a solemn good bye and wish you all the best with the future.

Dear TD,

In spite of rumors to the contrary I am not resigning because of the string of "reds" I've received recently, nor because smeg says such nasty things about my beloved adopted homeland, nor because my dear friends Fon Tok and Pol Pot are no longer with us.

Nor is it the kiddy porn allegations hanging over my head as a result of the chopped photos that recently appeared on GoW's Gallery page.

No, I am simply resigning in order to chug more cans of Chang.

it is with a hint of regret and a small clenched up feeling in my stomach that i feel i need to face up to the fact that i no longer live in thailand anymore. i did do a search for forums in Indonesia but they are fuckn pitiful by comparison.

so i hearby do declare that i'm off to a more suitable forum for me - perchance AE has an Indonesian section .....
