A while ago but worth to post I reckon:
A Mob of nature activists stopped us at a sea cable installation for 16 hrs until I brushed them at nighttime into a self made hive from Styrofoam and Duct Tape.
Lost time incident: round 68.000 EUR..

Arguing with an engineer is wrestling a pig in the mud, after 3 hrs you realize that he f**king enjoys it
Thick ribeye from Argentina. Soaked in Worchester sauce and covered in black pepper and garlic. Grilled over a medium flame, sat for 15 minutes afterwards to relax. DEElicious!

can never be too careful when laying a cable.
Medellin has it going on.
Brilliant to see 'my' thread still going after so many years
Our 'average' lunch in Tonga . . .
There's a fishing village not far from our plantations and they come and ask us what we'd like caught for the next day. They catch, sell it to the restaurant at the hotel we always stay at and everyone's happy.
Cheap as chips . . . almost.
Beautiful country, lovely people - should go more often than once a quarter, but who has the time

They look delicious.
I'm not a big drinker, especially beer, but when the weather dictates I'll have a bottle of the local Tongan brew:
(How do I get the pic upright?)
OI, Ant! I asked a question about how to turn the photo . . . get in line!
grumble grumble Kiwis grumble grumble
Oi! Hang on . . .![]()
Its because the crap forum software doesn't read the exif (Exchangeable image file format) metadata from the file to display the photo with the correct orientation.

It shows a bit of respect showing up for the police photographer wearing a bow tie . . . common thugs nowadays have simply lost the whole etiquette role
Lending a hand cleaning up after Cat 5 Tropical Cyclone Gita hit Tonga . . . it was total devastation, except for coconut trees (lucky for us). Every tree was devoid of leaves and fruits, banana trees were just lying everywhere, breadfruit trees down . . corn/maize flattened.
Fairly well everything was destroyed except for the newly Chinese-built Ministry of Finance building and our hotel, which also caught a lot of damage.
Water shortage, food scarcity for days . . . not a lot of fun but the Tongan people are amazingly resilient
Look who is crawling out of the woodwork now. Only the OP and just one week too late to claim the 11111th post
It is like Night of the Living Dead on TeakDoor this week - first Willy and now Hat.
Anyway Hat if you want your piccies the right way up what works for me is if you open them in Windows Picture Viewer then rotate them right 90 and then close Windows Picture Viewer and then open the pic again and rotate it 90 left and then close it and then upload it and it will be the right way up.
