It was actually a bit of a bugger as I was working at the naval base down the coast near Rockingham and staying at the Esplanade in Freo and I had to get a taxi every day.

This was painted on a wall well before they started on the Mo Chit BTS terminus and head office. Despite fading and a scrawls, it still survives next to the car park gate on Phahon Yothin Road, complete with the original logo (near right) before they decided on the current one. So I'd put it at about 22-23yrs old.

The frozen Big C fries were salted just right, bun was toasted about 20 sec too long but acceptable. Mustard sauce was ok, but the patty was f*cking brilliant.

Took a road trip to the Ski hill where SRV 's copter crashed in the fog.

Anyway Clapton was to be on the chopper but he gave up his seat to SRV. The pilot forgot about the ski hill and crashed into it in the fog after the show.

An excellent Sunday lunch at the Phuket Yacht Club, roast duck breast with a blueberry sauce, steamed pak choy, and mashed potato. Couple of Singha's as a starter, and accompanied with a couple of glasses of decent red. A large Hennessy and double espresso to round off the lunch. Someone has to do it......
