Chongnonsee sky train station. The new Condo is being built directly in front of the one behind, soon it will completely block out the original condos view. Worse still is the fookin thing is so close that a fart will be heard when taking a dump. Be aware when purchasing Condos in Bangkok that your once great view could get fucked over.
Thais like to boast about not complaining, jai yen yen and kreng jai. It's the reason they get fucked over by their own, and recieve a shoddy service so often.
An ex GF of mine called up true for extra calls/data one week before the end of the month, as she'd reached her limit. They said it was ok and would be active within an hour. She didn't recieve it but still happily paid for it that month. She didn't even call them back 2hrs later to ask where it was!
And she'd really needed to call home for some money off her mum! She used my phone!
Awsome, l did a Bad Lands trip through North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and all leading to and from home. It reminds me that it's time for another break in the action. Thanks for the reminder as sometimes I get lost in the here and now part of life.
Could be here today......gone tomorrow.

Anyone tried these? Are they worth the price and marathon microwave time?

About 2 years ago I went to Chao Lao Beach. I took photo's of the cycle lanes. Went again a few days ago and things ain't any better. In fact they're worse. It seems just about every tree is a designated rubbish bin these days.

She wanted to try some, but I managed to convince her not to as she was staying over.
Horrific evening avoided, just.....

I see it but i don't believe it!
Sprouts covered in chilli and nam pla, that's my idea of purgatory:scared:
I doubt they are aware of legend that befalls this foul flatulence inducing veggie. Probably assumed it's a smaller version of regular spring greens.
I bet there was a lot left over for the staff to take home....

Good morning Hua Hin this morning.

From our room. Very nice hotel, right on the beach. Had both American and Continental breakfasts this morning...perfection.

Photo credit me. You'll see that Mrs Naam is the photographer in this family.
Bit of tall poppy syndrome/jealousy colouring your view Lulu?
No scrub here, just manicured lawns. No outer hedge either, but a very neat seawall, and certainly not 50 metres away. Mind you, the gated entrance is about 80 metres to the main reception building, driving down a tree-lined road.
I don't know who designed it, but it has magnificent grounds and the buildings are luxurious.
With the old-fashioned Thai clothing and solar topee-hatted outside staff (the pool boys, the gateman, the parking attendants, the beach attendants etc, plus the huge statue of Krut on the roof, Mrs Naam suspects this establisment may belong to the King. It's certainly fit for a king.
Off to afternoon tea in the Museum Room now...tata.
And again....the American breakfast buffet, with it's perfect bacon (best bacon I've had anywhere and a million miles above the wafer thin crap from tesco or BigC) was great, but I couldn't resist the Continental breakfast too...ciabata with 3 cheeses and salami, salted butter of course, croissant with smoked salmon and herbed cream cheese. Absolutely delightful.
I suppose with your simple mind you'll need pictures to understand it all...coming soon.
Tootleloo. :)
Mental Note: Manfan Van Streibenhoff takes lighthearted comments a tad seriously.
Maybe it's the atmosphere in the tearoom.

:)
The ghosts of many farang teflers still haunt this building, at certain times they even stand outside smoking
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2017/10/1019.jpg
How do you get that I'm taking things seriously? By putting down your attempted silly jealous putdown with the facts?
Lulu....everyone knows you were trying to make out that I am staying in a low class place. And now, with the prospect of photos to come, you're doing a Trump again..."I wasn't...that's fake news and , and I'm great, and and, blah blah" You're a laugh a minute Lulu.
I guess everyone also knows you're seething because I'm staying in quite a nice place, one that you can't afford. We've seen you try to put down Dillinger similarly.
Well.....you know what I'm earning, and it's school holidays, so why not splurge? ;)
Afternoon tea in the Museum Room was good. I love scones, jam, and whipped cream. The pot of orange pekoe was perfect.
BTW...I've had another look....it's about 25 metres from my balcony to the seawall, and since the seawall is part of the hotel, then I would say that the hotel is built right on the beach.
:)
(Lulu furiously searches on Google for Museum Room and hotels on the beach at Hua Hin).

^You're living in a dream world, there's more chance of monkeys in the jungle picking up their banana skins and making a compost heap. In fact this would more likely become a reality first.
In the UK McD's bags are camoflague green, so they blend in with the countryside after being thrown from cars
Outside our balcony this morning, two squirrels were mating. Rookie mistake; coming out of an air conditioned room to the warm humid outside, the lens fogged up.
Sorry, poor quality. I'm not a good photographer.
The second shot is of a strange occurrence. After coitus, a third squirrel appeared when the male had just dismounted. At first I thought it was competition, but the newcomer started suckling. Then, most bizarrely, the copulating male started suckling from the other side!! Female just stood there squeaking.

https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?a...tid=2563&stc=1Across from the Milwaukee art Museum. This was around the 4th of July during The summer festival period.
https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?a...tid=2564&stc=1The underground parking at the art Museum.
https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?a...tid=2565&stc=1From a distance It looks like a sail boat. Even more so when they extend the louvers from around the upper deck. It looks cool at night the way it's lit up.
https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?a...tid=2566&stc=1We parked here on that night and walked to the Festival. You could just pull into the bay by boat but you may not get dockside as it's first come first serve. Fills up fast if they are lighting off fireworks on that particular evening so this worked for us.
