Or should I say how and why things work the way they do. It's pretty interactive so kids love the place. Heck, it's hands on so even the shifters may be amused by playing with things. I may just do a thread on this stuff. No, not the shifters, the festival. When I find time, maybe this winter when I'm not splitting wood. No, not that wood......silly shifters.......the fishes.

There it is at night. The Wisconsin Gas building torch is visible glowing to the left in the distance. It's neat because the color changes in the torch depending on the outside air temp. I have never boasted about wealth. I can't because I'm not wealthy! I've posted about one holiday that he immediately tried to disparage...then got frightened as I had photos. Nope, we sold it for exactly what we paid for it.
I'd wanted to rent but there were no decent convertibles available that I could find apart from silly cars like top of the range Aston Martins for squillions of quid per day. So, we looked around on line found this one, paid 8,000 and, after 2 months sold it for 8,000. In the end it cost us 2 months tax plus 2 months insurance. A rare, but pleasing win - win experience. The bloke who bought it was very happy.
Has to be said though that whilst it was a great little thing to drive it was totally impracticable for a 2 month holiday touring the UK. Just not enough room for luggage.
If there's a next time I'd go for an Audi.

Wow. I have never seen sticky rice cooked in those "monkey cups" here in the North. If you happen to see that in a market, I would love for you to take a photo and post it.

Monky cups are carnivorous plants. I keep trying to grow them but so far have had little luck with them getting any size. Sure never get big enough to put rice in!

The dog that isn't a soi dog, but lives fairly comfortably amongst the tables of a large outdoor Isaan food place along Ratchada opposite The Street. Has one bad eye but a real nice coat of fur, which means he's well fed. Gave him our carcass, which he munched and crunched on happily.
