A 'Banana Skipper' larva. Not really harmful to the banana tree but I like to kill them anyway. :) The black end is not its head. It's poo which is retained to confuse predators.

These are so cool. I saw one in Chiang Mai that was much higher and they drove an old car up on it as well. The guy got so close to the top on his bike I thought for sure it was going over crazy. I thought I took cool video but in the excitement didn't press the record buttonQuote:
