Weird.. I just posted the above from the phone and it just gave a link to the picture, then when I used the edit function it automatically embedded the photo... still, posting from the mobile is a great achievement on the TD technology front and I can see this thread getting a new lease of life :)
You can also send reds with yer phone now, without having to copy and paste in yer Lumerous comment. Makes it much more mobile. :)

Luigi, I don't know why you think the Honda 150 SP is better than the 150 RR that I have except for maybe being a year later than mine. I have a 150RR and she's quite a rocket for a small 2 stroke bike. I've had 5 of them over the years and always made money after getting them.
I have had all of mine fixed by a Thai friend of mine that lives close to me and they are cheap to repair. The highest speed I have done on my latest one was 160 kph when I first got her. I have no doubt she could get to 150 if I didn't run out of road. 555
I don't do much speeding like that any more but I do love that she can jump up so quickly. 2 Strokes are so much fun.
Been looking for a 250cc Honda 2 stroke to put into it or another one I know of down the road from me.
If you find a Honda 150 SP for 10k baht I'll be willing to bet it needs a lot of work.
You might find a KRR for 10k, not an NSR 150SP.
The SP has proarm swingarm, wider rear tire and 37hp, compared to the RR's 30-ish.
Yeah, the 250cc 2-strokes are sweet.
No need for it to go in the tank, they have an oil injector, I used to own a Kawasaki 500 3 lunger 2 strocker and that is what went bad going down the road and the engine locked up doing about 50 mph down the road.
Wish I still had that bike, it was a SCREAMER.

My mad mates borrowed my Camper 35 years ago. The one in the middle is now renting my Gaffer in Perth. Can't believe he survived. :)

Great campers. Here's mine from the 90's.
This was taken on a trip from Brisbane to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and back to Brissy.
Probably about 5,000 klm all up.
Are you staging for somthing Pat. You know it's never to late to seek medical attention. That coming from..well.......the fish.
Thumbnails, swingarms, no wonder I feel like a fish out of water. Nice picks folks. I may get the hangnail of it someday.
As for two strokers, when I was young and ponderd magazines I often wished that I had one,No not a wank bitch,. I didn't mind if you called me a fool or if you said it's one to wind up on Sundays.
Well you can excommunicate me on my way to Sunday school and have all the Bishops harmonizing lines.

https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?a...tid=1625&stc=1Went to see a friend for a drink by the Chao Phraya. They had no Jack so had my first beer for quite a while. What Beer? Decided to take a leaf out of BLDs book.
That looks nice. Can Lulu-No-Mates come join for the remainder of the afternoon? :)
^^Is that the Siam Riverside?
No problem Luigi. I'll keep the ice cold.
A little place at Wang Lang.
^So at some point around 4.55pm we went past you on our left.

A skybridge between Mo Chit & Ladprao Intersection station is logistically impossible, surely. Quite how they will achieve this given the gradients between them is a mystery. They've started at Mo Chit and today I noticed these on the nighest piers.
A direct walk between JJ Park and Central without hassle and traffic would be great. And damned high.
This is Thailand, believe it when I see it.

My rental on my trip to see Mum in Maryborough and daughter in Brisbane last October. This is outside daughter's house.

Did the rental company take a 3 K bond from ya credit card for that car. :)
I rented a piss ant thing in Perth last year for one day and it was a regulation 3 K hold on my credit card.
Fook. :yerman:
I forget Terry. I think it was just my card as surety. They may have. All done at BNE airport and I was knackered so it's all a bit foggy. Never got any speeding tickets in the mail though. Hit 180 at one point on the Bruce Highway.
Great car.
Only had 7000 on the clock when I got it.
Edit...on reflection, I think they did, and refunded it when I showed the petrol station receipt at the airport when I gave it back.
Edit: Upon reflection again...I think they wanted 7k if I didn't take their insurance, and about 2k to cover the excess if I did. I opted for insurance.
^
They told me that in the event of an accident even if it was not my fault they hold the 3 K until Insurance is sorted and then they would refund my 3 K. ?????
This was a major airport company.
I wanted the car for 24 hours . Never again. :)
In Thailand They take a 10 K baht hold, i like that much better.
^
They only told me because I grilled the Girl about what was this 3 K bolliks about and how does the Insurance work.
I bet plenty of people don't bother asking and then get one serious shock when confronted with this after an accident.
^^^I got a free bump from a standard Commodore to an SV6 at Perth a few years back. I was looking forward to driving it but when I took my wallet out I discovered that the taxi driver who drove me to the airport in Sydney had not given me my credit card back.
I lost the SV6 bump. I was unable to rent a car at all. I had to hand over a mountain of cash at the hotel just to be allowed to check in. Do not ever accidentally end up in a strange city on a business trip sans credit card!!
:(
