    ^ easy, repot them as soon as you buy them, some gravel at the bottom, then lots of sand in the potting mix,trim the roots back then let the cacti roots dry out for a day before repotting, soak, then let them get dry before watering again.

    ill post some of the missus cactus that i saved for her a few weeks ago.

    in the meantime...

    mate just sent me this from way back when, used to go to the local sand pits, quarrys every weekend,and local fields and green lanes most days after school.

    sorry about the quality, this was before digital,think i was about 13-14,im on the right mines the yz 80 in the middle, race tuned






    nigel, youll know this place, the sand pits in heath and reach, this was when the were just starting to dig, building the proccessing plant.

    the hole has gotten a bit bigger since then

    Have you grown up into a Roger Daltrey look alike ?

    Great fun mate was doing similar in my early days but never had a luxury like trailers to pull em about on , we used to take the plugs out and push em on the pavement , and we sorta got away with it with the old bill
