I've put not sure, because I'm not sure. We don't have kids, and don't plan on having any. But if the cards had fell differently, who's to say?

A friend of mine and his European wife, adopted a boy from the Pakret orphanage, they are both white and the boys very dark.
I admire them greatly, for several reasons, one of which was they went out of their way to get a very dark skinned boy because they knew he had no other chance.
Now the fortunate boy has the best Mum & dad anyone could hope to have.

Personally I admire anyone that takes on another child, I dunno If I would have the strength of Character to do so.

I have a child with another women, she won't give the girl up, and I don't blame her, shes a gorgeous kid, but some young Thai guy has taken on the upbringing of my child and I am extremely grateful to him.

ii) Asian women
iii) Asian women with kids
iv) any of the above.
The most charitable assumption would be that he condemns any woman who has a kid out of wedlock, or in a failed wedlock, or who's husband is thoughtless enough to die on her after the production of children, to a life of celibacy.

I thought it was good because it will generate discussion about something that I have experienced, as have many others here in Thailand including you.

We do not have to agree with the OP statement but can answer questions and not to defend ourselves but to educate others who have no experience.

If I had not met Noodles and know his posting mode I may have also bitten but to be honest he is only stating what others here also feel.

I see 4 others who have voted already would not consider it even if they fell in love with a girl first and then found out she was a mother later.

We are blessed that we can take on another's child and treat that child as our own. At the same time I suspect that others look upon us with suspicion and or just cannot understand how we can accept it.

As far as I am concerned that is our gain and their loss.
