Thread: Could we actually be descendants of an Alien Species ?

From watching Discovery, there was an interesting reportage on human and how in less than 2000 years we have progressed more than we did in 100,000 years, and they were raising the question of alien genetics for the missing link.

there are a lot of things that doesn't add up with the modern man. His lack of integration with his natural environment or I should say his host natural environment, is questionable. His self-destruction mentality, and his culture of building and destruction, his ability to self-regulate but at the same time to abuse things, is just NOT natural, counter productive and inefficient.

There are strong evidence that we all come from outer space, from a distant planet. With thousands of "objects" hitting earth, why would it be impossible to think that we have been visited before ? or that we are actually the invaders, not natives of earth.

Apparently a number of artifacts have been recovered, and seem to point to that direction, evidence from the Maya and Egyptian time. And of course, we have Area 51 and all the conspiracy theories.

Why would it be impossible to think that this is all true ?

Yep to a certain degree I go along with this theory and have thought about it for a long time, we are so far removed from every other animal on this planet, Gods on this Earth. The missing link was such an evolutionary jump, it seems quite unnatural. It'd also explain a lot of religion and our worshiping of beings from the stars.

If you look at some of the acts of God(s), they all could have been made with advanced technology that at the time was miracle like. I can go with the theory that 'God' was alien quite easily.

When most religions evolved, people were dumb as cattle. They had no idea what stars were. They thought the world was flat and that a woman shaking in orgasm was evidence of satanic possession requiring trepanation or volcanic sacrifice. We now know they're just faking it.

There is a strong need for us to believe in things, no matter how stupid there are. Religions might be the less stupid one as it try to send message of universal love, not always successfully though

As an answer to our existence it works just as well as religion, evolution. It would also explain all the ET (not Emperor Turd) and UFO phenomena. But it brings about new questions like: why don't they contact us openly? And how would you feel if they presented themselves right now and said "Hi, you're all just our experimental sheep" Maybe there's a good reason why they don't do that..

If there is alien life, I doubt it would survive the space journey to Earth. If if did, I doubt we would recognize it.
