You still at bloody work mate??
No, I'm at home at the moment and bored.
if i had some pics of kanchanaburi i could show you those,,,
Nooo.
That might not help.
hmm we'l think of somthing to keep you entertained.
WE could get CMN drunk and take pics of him wearin' his hat/pants/whatever, upside down.
How about Kanchanaburi next weekend?
I am excited big time.
Looks like a business idea of mine is set to come off in a big way after a great meeting yesterday afternoon.
I have done my back in and I have a sore throat but I am still excited.
Good morning to all and a good day in store. One of my mates from England is getting in later today and should be a good couple of weeks of drinkin, fishin and shooting some pool. He and his wife are back to get his stepdaughter a visa to go to England to study.

A colleague and I spent Friday afternoon tramping the streets of Manchester looking at various properties. It was bloody freezing with snow flurries and biting wind all afternoon. There is a tremendous amount of development going on in the city but still lots of run down and delapidated areas just outside the city centre.
A meal in the eveing and drink in a Thai run karaoke bar just off Piccadilly Gardens.
I had a bad night sleep due to being woken up at four by a drunken Irishman trying to kick down the door of one of the adjacent rooms.
Training the branch staff on Saturday, then just time for lunch and a haircut before catching the train back to London.
Clearly a growing Thai ex-pat population in Manchester. Besides the karaoke bar there are a fair few restaurants and Thai supermarket with a good selection of Thai foodstuffs. My hairdresser was Thai and she runs yet another Thai shop, this one selling clothes and Thai bric-a-brac, my mate had a head massge while I got my hair cut and a third farang came in for what was obviously a regular language lesson.
I finally got home at 22:00 having to share the Southend train with the usual Saturday night 'lets go to Sarfend and have a larf like' chavs.
Youngest son decided to wake up at 2 this morning to play.
Knackered!
Lord, deliver us from e-mail.
^Every town in the UK seems to have a Thai restaurant. When I see one I stand outside reading the menu tutting and saying out loud to puzzled passers-by, '350 Baht for a plate of somtam!!!!'.
The weather in the UK is certainly 'special' at the moment. Today there are brief periods of sunshine - but it's not real sunshine, nothing more than a low-wattage bulb in a fridge.
Back to work tomorrow. I've a list of things to do as long as your arm.....that's if your arm if 4ft long and you write really small. I don't mind work - especially pay-day - but sometimes I get really stressed. I think I'll take up meditation when I get back to LOS. I met a bloke in CM who ran a course and he seemed really laid back.....I know Wally likes yoga, but I've as much chance of getting into the lotus position as I have .........finishing this post with something original and amusing....
I had my bag stolen yesterday!
I was walking down the soi... (my soi) and some bastard came from behind me on a motorbike and grabbed my handbag. 3,500B, phone, credit cards, atm cards, keys... disappeared before my eyes.
It has never happened to me before so I stood there and watched in shock. Never thought to look at his reg, type / colour of bike etc. For a few seconds I even expected him to turn round and bring me my bag - as I had presumed it had caught accidentally on his bike as he passed.
How naive!
I went to the police station to report it and felt such a fool being able to give no useful information. Tho' I wanted the report more as a protection in case he attempted to use my cards or phone than in the hope that the 'bad man' would be caught.
So in the inner eschalons of the station I chatted with the guys in brown - plus a couple of guys with cool guns wearing civies (I am such a sucker for a man with a weapon) about Taksin and the state of the nation. They were interesting, it is sad how infrequently I meet someone who makes me wish my Thai was better - but the Jao Nai of Bang Sue police station certainly did that.
Something positive out of a negative - who'da thunk it? Just as my enthusiam for Thailand was starting to wane.
But eh I have been here too long, time to move on... quite like to learn Spanish - maybe Sth America.
Nope. Wally likes yoghurt, smeared all over a japanese school girls bum.Originally Posted by danbo

Damn, just sitting at work, pretending to be busy, but bored
nothing at all to do until tomorrow, and they pay me to sit here and be bored
Here I am on the 67th floor, looking at the view, all a bit misty, the mountains in the distance just visible, bored
Lots of people all working or pretending, probably playing games, last night I had a monster chille crab and a fresh fried fish with some perfect veggies and rice, now I am bored
could go for a drink later, put in a pizza and a margarita, but now just sitting here waiting for the off, and bored
soon I will tell the manager guy that I am fed up and am going to take a break, for personal reasons, but I will not come back. I want a summer in Europe, not being bored
another six weeks or so, and hooray, fly off to here and there, and not be bored
I have reported your post
I had a meeting at the Vintners Hall in London. The meeting was to introduce a couple of the heads of SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency), who all turn out to be ex MI6 spooks.
Anyway we do get a nice meal and the location is faultless click below for the virtual tour.
Dinner was served in the Gassiot Room.

But I know what you really want to see - yes, here is the toilet in all its marble glory.
Oh well, back on yer 'eads lads.
It's a busy day today. I had the first meeting at 10:00 to 11:30 then again at 13:30 to 15:30 then the next one started at 15:30 yeah... I was late and finished at 16:30 and the last one at 16:30-17:45.
but I'm happy because today we (my dept) did good! and we did the right thing which noone ever do it before.
I got home at 21:30 and now it's midnight already, I should sleep and recharge my energy to fight with those thick people again tomorrow.
Nite nite y'all!

This has been a hell of day. Working between Those Chinese fellers and some Thai folks. They tried to cut me out, fucked up the deal so no knows what's up. They then call me in and blame it all on the white-boy.
Took me all day to fix what it took them 3 weeks to fuck up. The reins are back in my hands though. Gotta be a good think. poor little woman had to listen to my rants for couple hours. Fuck I can be a mean bast'd. Feelin pretty bad about it now. Real bad. Sweetest woman I ever met.
She doesn't deserve someone like me. Musta been a bad person in a previous life.
Dougal, that marble job is an abortion, if my staff done it that shite I would pay for them to be beaten to death
^ Well it's a bit overpowering for my tastes. But I've been in worse karzis.
there is a rooftop bar here (39th floor) that has a great pissing spot
the urinal is against a large window so you can see the whole of the city skyline, wonderful at night
makes you feel like you are pissing on the city
Dougal: wtf is the piccie above the pisser?
looks like an earthquake being measured...and not one from Sewnsens for all you Thaiophiles
