Golden State Warriors beat Sacramento Kings of game 7 at the start of NBA playoffs. Now another all California round with the Los Angeles Lakers and our nemesis Lebron James. Steph Curry set a new all time NBA record.

Back to Malaysia and Singapore for a few weeks in pursuit of a few shekels. It was getting too cold in NZ anyway.

A little cheer for Chanthaburi immigration, in today for an extension and while not their fastest, I'm not complaining at - based on Google Maps - 24 minutes from arrival to departure.
An empty waiting room, four staff at their counters, and the otherwise unemployed 'customer helper' checked my papers, hurried off to return with a glue pen for my photo, job done.
Good timing, just as I was leaving a minivan arrived with a work broker type person, 8 Cambodians to renew work visas.
Now, a city shopping and eating day with #2 daughter before she's back at school on Tuesday 17th. Cheers.

I’ll bet you are. The only problem with Penang is traffic, or more accurately the poor infrastructure that is unable to support a modicum of traffic or public transport.

Yea, it is quite bad, but if you're just hanging around Gurney Drive and out to the restaurants by the water further airport-way you're fine.

Nope, that was in December, it's just me this time. I can think of a lot of good thing to get get stuffed on in DK

Despite the weather forecast, it wasn't raining when we arrived in Menton, quite a bit warmer than the miserable Bavaria we left behind.
