There are only 8 units in our villa hamlet so the garbage truck lads collect it from bins at a designated point on the road outside.
Put our bin out last night, got up late due to 9 hours sleepy October, went out the front and me bin was gone.
Fookin' koonts I thought. Some koont has only gone and pinched me prize bin.
Trudged back and there it was, as empty as could be at the front of the villa. One of the nice neighbours brought it in for us. Lovely.
Back home I'd probably have been fined 250 quid by the council for leaving it out past the designated collection time of 7am.![]()
Hang on - your 'villa' consists of 8 separate units?
^ The hamlet has 8 villas.
You can find it on Google Maps here...

Thought this was a pleasant story. After Portsmouth won the FA Cup in 1939 and WW11 broke out, they held the cup for seven years.
As a club, they were entrusted to keep the cup safe during this time. It was moved around Portsmouth to avoid the heavy bombing and eventually ended up at the Bird in Hand pub in Lovedean! It was proudly displayed behind the bar sat on top of the "wireless". Every night, the landlord would take it upstairs and pop it under his bed to keep it safe!!
Here's a photo of it behind the bar:
^ There's a question for Dirk's Pub Quiz, which team held the FA Cup for the most consecutive years.

After almost 6 years of updates and refinements, I moved on from my Hero go Pro 7 to the latest tech flagship, the Hero 12. Man its really amazing optical advancements in this segment. I remember back to the Hero 3. Sort of like I did with DJI drones and the Phantom 1 to the now Mavic series.
All set up on my ATV. Stabilization features are just incredible.
