You'll ruin the surprise then. If theyre like my Missus they'll soon swap it at the gold shop without any thought of the little sentimental value it had to you

Its a good time to buy gold now I reckon at 19,000 baht per baht, although Im no Luigi.

My Handbag gets fook all for Xmas or her Birthday or Buddha Day or anything.

She gets a present every day of the year, That's me Eh.

She knows just how lucky she is.

That said, she gets whatever she wants everyday of the year as long as it's something fooking useful.

Like the other day i bought her a brand new size 30 Pot for her Induction stove. Spunked out 2400 Baht.

That's useful because she can cook me those extra size fish that we love.

    Great cook my Handbag eh.

Yes, an adopted shitzu. The best dog ever now. I was kinda worried at first because the people it came from were animals. They put her in a diaper and left her alone in an apartment for untold hours on end. They moved to a no pets place so we took her in.

She loves to run outside take a quick pee and runs back really fast. Not just because she gets a treat for this but because she hears the coyotes howling in the woods often.

And no, the wife would have my ------ in the Christmas nut cracker if anything happens to little Moo moo.

    Your dogs called Moo Moo?

No wonder youve trained it to run back in for a treat. Youd look a right wanker shouting his name.

The only drone youre gonna be getting for Xmas is the drone off that pet vacuum, whilst sucking the clogged up clingers from the arse of that fluffy spoilt mutt.

All kidding aside. Buying gifts is actually stressful. They either usually do not like it or you did not spend enough so buying Nothing is a good choice. I usually say let's be Thankful for our position in life. Besides I buy shit year round. I don't need a holiday marketed by businesses to make me feel compelled to buy something...

Trouble ahead. Your wives/girlfriends are silently deducting points for no prezzies, I’m tellin’ ya.

    Don’t be such Scrooges!

(Lazada is dead easy for shopping, so no excuses that you can’t be bothered with going to the mall.)

Slightly related. Was in Aldi and saw this.

This will be the present from them (our boys) to Dad.

We can build it together, take it down the Park and let rip.

Had a quick look and it seems to be one of those compressed air style.

If it lasts more then 10 times ... money well spent.

Xmas for the wingman means a nice frippery which I think is nice and suits her. Her views are irrelevant. Birthdays, however, mean gold and there it is.
