They were right, weren't they? Farang means Caucasian person. It doesn't mean "foreigner". So you were the farang, not them.

Not surprising, given that Thais are so superior to everyone, let alone the 'dirt khmer'.

Some of their feelings towards Cambodians really came out on the Thai webboards when the yellow shirt demands for Preah Vihear were in full swing.

Well " Kambochiye " is the only Thai swear word that I know, it's only when I am really upset that I use this swear word, knowing how bad a word it is.

@neverna - there's another word, Mzungu. It's a Swahili/Bantu word for people of European descent. That's the 'z' word that I forgot. I remember reading abt it here, from an article abt a young African lady who died recently, and had a mzungu bf. I noticed she had very long nails, and thought - how could she do dishes or wash clothes?!
