They were right, weren't they? Farang means Caucasian person. It doesn't mean "foreigner". So you were the farang, not them.

Well " Kambochiye " is the only Thai swear word that I know, it's only when I am really upset that I use this swear word, knowing how bad a word it is.

@neverna - there's another word, Mzungu. It's a Swahili/Bantu word for people of European descent. That's the 'z' word that I forgot. I remember reading abt it here, from an article abt a young African lady who died recently, and had a mzungu bf. I noticed she had very long nails, and thought - how could she do dishes or wash clothes?!
