Looks like Willy, the 65 year-old child, was obsessing while eating breakfast again.

In hindsight maybe KW should be Mr Bean..

Nah, Bean can be funny sometimes, definitely the fat sumo wrestler with no personality...

Needed some new board shorts. I don't like all the minimalist hipster designs that are popular today. So I bucked the trend. It's swim wear ffs.

It will look like I'm doing a blue angel

I bought a 1 metre length of reflective tape so I can stick a strip of it on each of the handles of my picks and shovels to make them easier to find with a torch after I put them down in the jungle and then become disoriented.

...and it came all the way from Azerbaijan, which is somewhere near Borat country I think. Amazing.

^I saw that one on the BBC news. Lovely embroidery.

I was hoping it would come fully accessorised with a sword for knighting Royal Marines and beheading Nazis but it looks like I will have to get Queenie tooled up via an after market accessorisor.

I was also hoping it would come with a draw-string voice-box, like our hero, with a selection of plummy queenly catch-phrases like 'my husband and I...', 'orff with his head' and 'we are not amused' but I could be out of luck again.

I have been using my reciprocating saw for cutting shrubs and tree branches. Its far from ideal. Seems every year I have to trim the trees.

Thinking about getting a cordless chainsaw

M'Sahib is head gardener, and at this time of year (start of the growing season) is usually to be found up a stepladder cutting back trees and shrubs. Got this for her last year and its proven excellent.

what a cracking looking bit of kit PAG, better than swinging a chainsaw around up a tree, 2400w is good too. Probably safer as the drive will cut off quickly if you drop it.

Nice tool PAG. That is always me on the ladder with the wife down below cutting up and moving the trimmings to my truck. I just ordered a EGO 60V Pole Saw that I will bring back with me from the states.. I have used them before. I routinely use my pole trimmer but the branches on the mature trees are getting to be 2 to 4"thick so those Pole chainsaw type systems make life easy.

^ I really need to get one too. Last year starting the 1/3 prune back of the Mangoes wasn't a ball of fun with the red ants and getting small nest dropping down your front 3 meters up wasn't a highlight with chainsaw in hand.
