Munger Massacres "Scumbag, Immoral" Bitcoin Traders, Gates "Would Short It" If He Could
“Suppose you could make a lot of money trading freshly harvested baby brains. Would you do it?” Munger asked.“To me bitcoin is almost as bad.”

A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
Come on.... Bill Gates can't short Bitcoin because there is no easy way to do it?
I understand he can't be arsed, but.....
Well, must confess my positivity for ETH lasted as long as a wine gum; still in, will sell at 30k to 35k whichever comes first.
^
There were rumours of a SEC meeting yesterday to potentially classify ETH as a security. Rumours based on unknown sources in a WSJ article. It all turned out to be fake news. Normal transmission should now resume.
Nope. That's where me long term portfolio comes into play.
Might do another short term when it dips again.

"Facebook reveals blockchain ambitions"
Augur (REP) which is one of my long-term holds is up nearly 20% for the day, while the rest are dipping a bit after their week long rise. Bit unusual to see, usually they fluctuate somewhat in unison.
Hmmm... what could it be?Gary Cohn, the former Goldman Sachs executive who led Donald Trump's National Economic Council until last month, weighed in on bitcoin and blockchain technology on Tuesday."I'm not a big believer in bitcoin," Cohn told CNBC's Bob Pisani in an interview. "I am a believer in blockchain technology."He then made a bold prediction about the future of the tech, telling the network:"I do think we will have a global cryptocurrency at some point."Cohn clarified that this global cryptocurrency would not be "based on mining costs and costs of electricity and things like that," a reference to the power-hungry mechanism that bitcoin and other blockchains utilize."It will be a more easily understood cryptocurrency that will probably have some blockchain technology behind it, but it will be much more easily understood how it's created and how it moves and how people can use it," he remarked.
Oh sheeeet! Could it be true? The 1988 cover of the Economist coming true?

He's even more deranged than Earl.
I can't wait to see him eat his own dick on live TV in 2020.

McAfee ... whatever, he's had a damn sight more exhilarating life than what ever ever ever you lame ducks would ever have in your wildest dreams have ever conceived.
Not to say he is correct. But a life lived with enthusiasm. Something to be celebrated in this conformist age.
