I am on there but have yet to transfer any coin over. I joined because it is one of the only exchanges that has KIN a coin I am interested in.
Some scuttlebutt that KIN could be a pump and dump. I have no idea whether that it is true but that coin has a lot of hype on the boards

What coins are rising for you? I'm flat right now but had a good day earlier. I'm pretty overweight in ETH though so that's been a part of it

Been hitting F5 all morning and it just won't get out of a +/- 1% range from Friday's total. -_-

    Boring.

    Bring on some volatility.
Sold some XRP for STRAT, then more to top up APPC, now at 8k down from 15k but will top up when it drops tonight.

Is there a consensus on XVG and TRX? - is it worth reentering - thoughts?

I went all in on tron. I had a chance to double my money and missed it. I was able to get out of it with a small gain. That put me 100% into BTC which was dropping. I needed a place to park my coins that wasn't dropping. I chose ADA and then stumbled upon APPC and bought into that. Since then I have acquired some ETN but right now I am stuck in the other two coins until they go up. I was just now almost out of ADA then it went down again. I am hoping to pull 50% out of ADA and move it over to cryptopia.

This time of night I think that there are a ton of damn Chinese day traders trying to grind it out for a few pennies making the markets really unstable. Annoying. Just take a look at ADA right now and you will see what I mean.

Just a heads up on Cryptopia its experiencing mad problems right now. They have closed all their non-BTC trading pairs, which was double bad because that exchange specialized in non-BTC pairings, meaning you can't trade tons of coins there right now. Been like this for days and days with no ETA in sight. Tons of people have been screwed very badly.

The importance of keeping your coins on a wallet and not an exchange or broker.

You're right mate. That is too true and something I need to get on pronto. I guess even a hot wallet is better than this exchange garbage. Downside is you can't sell fast if things turn against you but that's the world of crypto anyway.

BTW, whoever had the foresite/foreskin to jump on the Binance or Kucoin home coins has got to be loving life right now. I know at least one poster mentioned owning the Binance coin. That shit makes perfect sense, it was almost inevitable that those coins would skyrocket given all the new traders and trading discount incentives to own the coins. A little upset at myself for missing that, in hindsight it just seemed so obvious. The next time either of those coins takes a major shit I'm buying

Anyway anyone who wants to sign up for Kucoin feel free to PM me if you want and I can give you a referral. Not sure of the details but I think you get free Kucoins or discounted trades or something.

An interesting article talking about the reasons behind the current sh1tcoin rise and what will happen next.

Basically the next investors in the crypto market will be big funds and they will likely be buying BTC and not the latest shill coin.

    ^ interesting - thx

Meanwhile, amid the small-cap and altcoin euphoria, we're on the precipice of a major entrance of institutional capital to the space and the one place it is going is BTC. Family offices, large hedge funds and endowments will not be investing in Bcash. A BTC ETF will launch sooner than people think. A TRON one will not.

So BTC still regarded as one of the best for the long term (1 year)? Looks like it. Cheers.

    #MeToo.
Missed that one. Will also wait it out.

CMC is up to some shenanigans. They decided to remove the Korean exchanges from the overall MC calculations. Since the Korean exchanges all have horrendous taxes & fees that make the price higher and distort the true price that is fair enough. But they've applied it only to XRP & ETH and not to TRON. XRP at 40% Korean fanbase makes it look likes it has especially crashed and overall it's pumped up BTC dominance again. There'll be a few conspiracy theories out soon re: the timing/inconsistencies.

    Market manipulation?
It's not illegal so carry on as usual.
Some people think it don't, but it be.

Great article Baldrick. It has been on my mind a bit. Need to start lightening up on these altcoins.

Just moved some of my ETH to BTC. BTC looking relatively cheap right now.

Another coindesk article that's pro-BTC and anti it's major competitors ETH & XRP and Alts in general. They even cut off the rest of the Twitter feed where the journalist claiming XRP is not used got a right spanking from banking Big wigs. They are rather laughable and they own a lot of BTC.

It's hard to know what to believe.

So many articles and reports saying that XRP is the next BTC. Then ETH and DAS are. LTC is the next BTC. BTC is the next BTC and here's why.

Long term wise, I just gotta spread wide and hope for the best with a fairly wide number of coins.

Apparently upon closer inspection the kucoin invite program isn't worth much unless you plan on inviting other people. Don't want to give the impression that I give a toss about accumulating invites that likely reward peanuts. Just trying to be helpful but the program appears to do jack shit for the invitee on closer inspection
