    No digital tokens at all. It was already parabolic last December. When it became a hot topic here.

    Bitcoin breaches US$8,000 level as March slump accelerates

    Bitcoin began the week on a down note, declining as much as 8.7 per cent, pushing the biggest cryptocurrency's decline for March to about 25 per cent.

    Bitcoin dropped below US$8,000 ($10,964) to US$7,863, according to Coindesk.

    Twitter Inc. confirmed Monday that it's banning advertisements for initial coin offerings and token sales on its social-media platform. The decision comes after Facebook Inc. banned cryptocurrency ads in January and Alphabet Inc.'s Google said it would ban such ads starting in June, as part of a broader effort to crack down on deceptive and misleading advertising on their platforms.

    After reaching a record high of almost US$20,000 in December, Bitcoin has slumped about 60 per cent as investors reconsider the prospects of the digital currency and regulators around the world increase scrutiny.

    The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sent a number of subpoenas earlier this month to ICO teams it suspects are breaking securities regulations, and it has warned since July that some of the offerings may be breaking securities regulations. Twitter said on March 7 that it was implementing measures to prevent crypto scams.

    ^ Have you panicked and sold yet?

    XRP=$000.60
    ETH=$490.00

    Panic time for the weak players...

    Curious how there doesn't seen to be much FUD driving this bear market.

    ^555 hardly an apt comparison, though FB might morph into something less greedy and of service to the end users.

    Many many users are fleeing FB to platforms like Steemit. Giving even more credibility to the developing technologies like Bitcoin.

    Ye of little faith.

    Stick with local exchanges still above $8,000. Today, it's still above (253,983THB) the March lows (235,010THB) and even some green this morning.

    Maybe the weakening ameristani currency has some bearing, lack of confidence in all instruments, except AU.

    today: btc is down against the dollar (7.5%) and thai baht (6.5%).

    so, not much difference in my opinion.

    btc/usd is also still above the march 18 low of 7,400.

    a weaker dollar would mean btc/usd would not fall as much as btc/thb.

    Yes. But I want DCR. And some extra BTC or ETH to pay the Colo for housing my ASIC for the first 3 or 6 months

    The valley bottom seems to be in or at least bouncing around in a very small band (4,000THB) for the last 8 hours.

    The above is a ski slope that would be black diamond: eth 30 day chart is down 50%.

    ant: still thinking "hmm, this could be a down trend or it could be an up trend, not sure"?

    While the children bicker, here's something for the grown-ups...

    A video (23min long) about crypto and the history of generational investing and how millennials could effect the market.
