I was fined 500 for NOT carrying my passport by the regular fuzz in Rangsit just over a year ago. Some say its law that is should be carried at all times?

It technically is law but is only enforced when the officer in question wants to buy a new rice cooker.

I've never been in trouble with any police anywhere but I have never heard any positive stories about them.

Very few people who join the police do it because they want to serve and protect.

I would sooner pay a fine and have my passort locked in my safe than carry it on me
