    SCB Just rung me and said that they didn't find my card in the ATM machine.........I waited there for 30mins after the thing rebooted and could see there was no card in the slot. Just f'ing typical isn't it. Cards go missing, farangs go missing, lawyers about to prosecute the police go missing and now even planes go missing. Happy days in SE Asia

    I cannot believe that some people are flummoxed by this . If you dont want to pay the 180 Baht fee, then go to a bank with your passport and withdraw the money for free , this also safeguards your card from getting eaten by the ATM machine .
    Not all banks can do this though, but once you have found one that will, just keep using that same bank to make withdrawals for free
