Tonight I had a Singha with a Hong Thong in my decagon glass, in anticipation of Bristol City getting into the play-offs for the Premier league. The lunchtime kick-off is 18:30 Thai time and I hope to listen to the match while cooking dinner.



I can't help feeling that these experiences would be enhanced by some human company, and sometimes I think that I need to sort my life out.

I should be going offshore a week on Wednesday and can't wait. I may even get the chance of a bit of passport renewal business en-route, which would be nice. But you shouldn't look forward to going offshore to work? Not at my age.

The daughter will start boarding at a new school in August, and secretly I'm dreading it.

Perhaps this will help, visited a nice artisanal market yesterday, and ordered this beef to sit down with while listening to a live band that was pretty decent. the lead singer wasn’t wearing a bra either, as appears to be common here. I almost put out my eyes trying to take a photo but I’m not so crass enough as to post it up here. But here’s a photo of the beer.
