What a fookin eejit. I put my bike down on the sand on the wrong side and got sand stuck all over the chain and cogs.
But there are no problems in life that do not look better from the other side of a selection of the finest wines and beers available to humanity.
Started of with the local Balter XPA which is citrus overload and inspired me to get my bike parked more sensibly
Then knocked off the nutty Belhaven
Before finishing off with the Qantas red wine miniature
I like the way the weeping pine needles look like you are going into hyperspace when you look up at them.
Geezer knocking out some cracklin toonz on this unusual slide guitar at the Coolangatta hotel
This is gonna be a heavy month for Ale tasting!!!
I'll best line my gut with something light

A chilli flavoured beer?
Surely not...
Splash of sparkles to watch Rebel Ridge, quite a pacey Netflix thriller 7.4/10
Just crash landed on the counter top a nicely weathered P-38 Lightning. I have already got one in 1/32 but you can never have too many P-38s and this one comes with open engine bay pornography which was enough to persuade my trigger finger.
Visited a packed local pub for local people tonight and had a pint of an eighties rock band stout...
There were more dogs in the pub than people!
A Mendip heaven...

Have some friends coming down today from CM to celebrate a birthday this evening. I took out a very nice Rye for a few of the early arrivers, then off to dinner at 7. I haven't been posting much from my reserve as Tax seems to lose his mind and I'd hate to see him go off the reservation..
Templeton has been around forever distilling incredibly good Rye whiskey. This 10 year is simply outstanding.
^ Absolute spitting image, he even has the same toenails.
And he has the same loose folds around his neck. Yogi can't wear a collar because his neck is thicker than his head.
Same same.
And I thought Yogi was a one off.
It's Yogi in tinted contacts!
Maybe they are an actual breed... who knows?
Anyway, to keep this on topic, I had another glass of red wine tonight. Yogi can look quite regal at times.

^Looks especially statuesque and noble with his buster-gonad ballbag hidden behind the strategically placed flagon of red wine!
I prefer the red Peroni, but that one will do.
I was inspired by Mendy's red wine flagons to crack open one of the bottles my sister gave me for my birthday last year.
Red wine glow is quite different to any other tipple, I find. It is deep and warm like ready-brek radiation.
