    What are you drinking today?-20211229_185319-jpg

A good old Singha in a frozen Asahi glass with a ball of ice at the bottom which will come free half way through.

Had few to many, and I am moving slow today. Suntory just goes down so nicely.

It's funny Snubs. There are a few local watering holes by my place here. And while the walk is nice sadly however your selection is Singha, Leo, Chang (usually all on ice), Sangsom and if you are a big spender Johnny Walker.

Seems as though you are better off with your own liquor cabinet. I just really needed to get out, and my local is a real nice spot. There are always some regulars there to have a chat with, and it has a real easy-going vibe and is toasty warm to take the bite out of the current arctic blast we are in the midst of.

Yeah. Why I chill at home but I admit, that I do miss a good US watering hole. The ambiance makes it a nice place along with some friendly chat and a good knock.

    Cheers Snubs

Whisky sours tonight with JD. Fresh limes instead of lemons but still good. One set of nieces have buggered off to the farm with our music. They won't be getting anything in 2022, wife is furious with them. They're all on home made rice whisky...gonna have sore heads in the morning.

    Happy New Year to all..

I drank an impressive amount of Chang yesterday, even if i say so mysef. Judging by my ring of fire i indulged in isaan food also, despite my explicit instruction to ban me from such heathen fare.

Just cracked the bottle actually. Got woken early by the village chickens, well cocks and then the village chickenheads waking everyone up with their music and then Pu Yai blabbering indecipherably over the PA system. I deserve this bottle and goat cheese chaser - its all about me

i have another bottle hidden in case reinforcements are required.

    Happy New Year all.

The Grumman E-2 Hawkeye Airborne Early Warning is a veteran and stalwart of the US navy carrier fleet. The 60th anniversary of its first flight was a year ago.

It has seen the F-4 phantoms retire and then the F-14 Tomcats and the 1st generation F/A-18 Hornets come and go but is still in service with more upgrades planned to help keep the 2nd greatest navy in the history of the world safe from nasty communists.

they retired a few squadrons of Phantoms in the Falklands, great planes, iconic. They sit off shore south of MPA if you feel like salvaging a couple Loops, shame really but too much trouble to ship back.

I’m enjoying the left-overs from last night. Added some healthy juice to it this morning.
