Do you pay on the first date ?

It is customary for men to pay on the first date. i don't mind doing it. I go for the money and the lady starts fumbling around in her purse and makes it all awkward. "I can pay blah blah" "You work at a casino, you have no money, let me pay" Thats what I felt like sayin on my last date anyway...

I don't even care if there isn't a future date. Why split the bills and make it an awkward fuck show ?

What are they trying to prove ? They don't want to feel guilty if there's no second date ? If I cared , I wouldn't bother planning one in the first place. half the time its me that doesn't want a second date.

If you buy dinner that is your fault. It should be just a drink and dutch for the first meet and if they wont go along with that, you are weeding out the meal whores.

I think younger people will share the bill or one will offer to pay first (doesn't matter if male or female). A lot also depends on who asked who to dinner. I am middle aged and believe in the man paying the bill in most cases.

I agree, conts have fucked my Aussy Dollar which had been powering along, earlier this year it hit 31 and now its 28 ??? Conts EH.

Not only that but I pay for everything I can on Visa card, when converted to AUD from Baht they give me 27.5 when the street rate is 28.2.

Friggin Banks are making a killing but I don't give a fuk as I'd lose that on an international money transfer anyway.

Only way you can beat them is to walk the cash in and use a money changer and not a bank to convert.

I'm going to do a thread on this subject as I lost $75 AUD on a $ 3000 transaction at SCB Bank here 3 weeks ago.
