It is customary for men to pay on the first date. i don't mind doing it. I go for the money and the lady starts fumbling around in her purse and makes it all awkward. "I can pay blah blah" "You work at a casino, you have no money, let me pay" Thats what I felt like sayin on my last date anyway...

I don't even care if there isn't a future date. Why split the bills and make it an awkward fuck show ?

What are they trying to prove ? They don't want to feel guilty if there's no second date ? If I cared , I wouldn't bother planning one in the first place. half the time its me that doesn't want a second date.
