I believe in education but what about the freedom to be ignorant? Govts. in the democratic world all insist on about 12 years of education for all boys and girls (including, here in LOS, even in the sticks). It's what the education system does with the kids that makes a difference. True govts do control the education system but the educators themselves are at fault. And they give the same lousy education to the boys as well. The individual can rise above that and I believe more girls around the world are more highly educated than most boys because they work at educating themselves to a greater degree. But, if after 12 years, regardless of the results, shouldn't an individual have the right to quit school?

The education systems remains lousy everywhere. (PLEASE, let's not talk about the Islamic world or war-torn countries.)

Where do my laundry soap scoops go? They vanish into thin air.

Last week I set two out next to the detergent, now gone.

Used a measuring cup from my kitchen yesterday morning and left it. Today it is gone too.

    WTF!

I have now tied a measuring cup on to the laundry stand......

Several times of the last week I have had visions of Red Leicester cheese melting on top of brown wholemeal toast. Quite mouthwatering with a mug of filter coffee to wash it down.

^ Several times of the last week I have eaten Red Leicester cheese melting on top of brown wholemeal toast. It was indeed most delicious with a mug of filter coffee to wash it down.

Gotta score points where I can, Chaz.

    Nice one Slap

I am forced to endure 7/11 brown bread with Lotus Cheddar, washed down with very cold Savanna dry cider. Shit it's hot out there today. 36c in the shade.

Interesting that this new employer actually wants you to perform? Take it easy BLD, no stroking out over a job...one thing at a time, then move on to the next...making a list, checking it twice, finding out who's really in charge...offer no opinions and you'll be safe. Have fun! You're working and being paid for it...better than picking shit with the chickens as so many are these days...hold on to that thought.

^Has Cassamui begun his journey? Oh, forgot, he was only joking...ha,ha! Wow, am I surprised or what? That trip was scheduled two weeks ago. Must have been delayed by a stop over in Amsterdam for cheese between the thighs.

Here's what's getting on my tits today:
Our newly gay Minister for Health - Mr. Leo Varadkar decided in his wisdom to increase the price (ie taxes) on a can of beer to eu 2.20. Fook's sake! I used to be a beer snob - would never even taste anything that didn't come in a bottle. Now, times are hard and i'm reduced to buying 4 cans of Dutch gold for a fiver, aka "Knacker's Beer".

Why can't he do his freaky gay shit and leave us respectable drunks alone?

My friend in Dublin drinks Polish beer.

My thought today is a good one, i went to my local Boulangerie to buy a sausage roll or croissant au jambon as they are called here. The very nice lady said that i could have three for the price of one - coz they were a bit burned. And they weren't.
