Goat cheese in my pasta sauce has been on my mind since NR wrote she used it.

Any special method to do this, November Rain?

I've done that, but I pick up a basic pizza and just add whatever I fancy or scratch around in the fridge for leftovers.
The last one was prego ragu sauce with bacon sausage scrambled egg, chicken tikka, leftover cheese and mushrooms.
    Yum

I fried up a little dried chilli flakes with some thinly sliced garlic & added some halved cherry tomatoes and some basil leaves. Cooked gently for about 15 or so mins, squashing down the toms occasionally. Then added it all to drained pasta with some more fresh basil leaves and some cubed/torn goats cheese. Leave for a couple of mins for cheese to melt/ooze and that's it. Simple but very tasty

Yeah, tried with that but it only transfers music and pics. Might be the programme I use (Zune). And if I can send them by email, I can't figure out how. Might just have to give in and go to the Vodafone shop and speak to the spotty assistants half my age...
Spotty assistants? I have hissy fits with them. They slouch around and pretend to be interested.

But i got one once, with the expected words - i want to see the manager. The wee bugger was not as agile as his mates.

Just because i wanted to buy a new phone - he got the comission. I'm sure his mates weren't pleased.

There must be some way you can save them. Sad if you can't. Just don't zap them. A friend of mine kept the last voice mail from her dad on her machine for five years. And during an argument with her boyfriend deleted it. When i phone my mum and it goes to the machine i hear my dad's voice on the message - she left that for us to not forget him. Even 15 years later.

Indeed...How right you are...This was the first year ever that I did not give even one present for Christmas...

There are so many people in the world who are full of despair and I just couldn't give presents when others are lacking everything...

That's not to say I didn't give in other ways to those around me, and spread the cheer in a way that was more important to me...

Just been notified by a customer that I was charging £125 postage on some vintage postcards. Supposed to be £1.25 but I obviously forgot or didn't press decimal point hard enough. Went to revise it and eBay wouldn't allow revisions on p&p, so had to end & relist it. Absolutely my fault, but I'm wondering why the same eBay who won't allow more than £4 postage on books, video games & DVDs (even on huge job lots) would happily allow £125 on a handful of saucy vintage postcards.

Expats and Thai's seem to fall into one of three categories: First: Don't know, don't care. Second: Don't know but would like to. Third: Yeah, I know what's going on.

Fourth: Part and parcel of the problems.

Yup, they do work well . . .

A slight fever and blisters in her mouth.

Mrs Hat just came back from a meeting at work and took her to a Kanak-Kanak specialist in Bandar Utama, a Canadian lady . . . it'll be the usual gargle treatment
