Dangerous stuff LT, good that you're still among the men and not amongst the Eunuchs. I've got about 20 hardwood and semi-hardwood stumps to remove, you up for it with your side grinder?

Man, close calls are wake the fuk up calls LT. Pay attention to them. Take care mate.

You're luckier than you think....if it had gone into the wrong part of your inner thigh, you wouldn't have lasted long. Your femoral artery is there and it pumps blood out frighteningly fast.

I don't believe that your bollocks weren't torn off.

Please post a photo of them in intact state in order to re-assure me. Obviously you will have to be clearly depicted still attached to them, so that they aren't just a stunt pair.

LT, not to be the doting mom, but be careful with too much beer and heavy duty antibiotics. The beer can affect the effectiveness of them. Remember what Ajarn Doc told you, a big chance of infection. Cheers though mate, you know me.

Shame really, would have made for a great thread, Loy Toy off to the hospital with his bollocks in one of his buckets or beer coolers

    Get well soon.

Maybe not such a big drama really for LT at his stage in life. He wouldn't be wanting more kids I guess so the hospital could probably give him a prosthetic pair made from rubber.

He could go for a really big pair to turn heads on the beach in his speedos and for fun for the wife.

I might be thinking about that myself as a cosmetic surgery maybe in 10 years or so if I still can't face the prospect of kids.

Would have its advantages if a girl tried to kick you in the nuts for some reason too. You could just smile like a man of steel.

Glad you are okay LT. Those things are indeed dangerous. Regarding the reaction from the wife, it's always okay for the victim. I was headed out rabbit hunting in my teens on a new snow and slid down a hill on my butt only to go over a broken coke bottle. The look on our neighbor's face when I got home (she was an ER nurse) was one of those looks where you know you are in for something big and that a band aid was not it.

I was thinking of buying an angle grinder instead of borrowing the builders all the time. But....Hiring out the work seems like pretty wise advice after hearing about this ......

Best buy a lottery ticket or 2 LT, you nearly became a LB.

Then you'd have be taking 2 Indians (or Iranians) to a room in Pattaya with a bottle of Rohypnol every week.

Why did you photograph the power tool, your leg and the tree stump?

Is it for an insurance claim.

A friend of mine, super fit athlete, decided he would prune a tree with a chain saw. He hit a hard spot, the saw kicked back and he was lucky not to have had his head cut off. He had a severe cut to his neck and hurt his back when he fell off the ladder. He never tried it again.
Why can't I make new posts?
