I claimed doctored wickets and I reconfirm that these wickets that the Indians are serving up are poison.

I am shocked that they decided to bat after winning the toss.

Anything over 100 runs is a competitive score on this wicket.

    Not Cricket!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Australia have to do at all costs is come out and be aggressive from the start. Better to get caught on the boundary after coming down the wicket and hitting on the half-volley than to be trapped plumb in front LBW while not playing a shot. Either way they'll be all out for under a ton

The Indian tweakers are going to be unplayable on this track one would think.

^ its not even a rank turner yet, its also got variable and particularly low bounce - Pitches like this don't make a cricket match and should be cited, imo

Yep but Harry the Indian Taxi Driver luvs it.

I can remember back in the 1970's when touring teams visited India they were only doing their job to promote test cricket in spite of the fact the Indians, their umpires and everyone else involved with the Indian side were cheats.

Yes, thanks to Smith, Warner and others we have cheated but to pepare a pitch as the curry boys have is not cricket!

Do a Google search some time on what teams and players have been pinged for ball tampering over the years and read up on the topic, starting with Mike Atherton and why he had dirt in his pocket, and you'll soon see there's not many countries in any position to cast stones from their glass houses.

England bowl out Bangladesh for 209.

All the England bowlers took a wicket.

    Surprised Archer is there.

Define irony . Simply pointing out that's there's detailed reports online of every team that have ever been pinged ball tampering and if you think England aren't on the list too you're even more retarded than I thought. And there's very little wiggle room left in that department.

Getting Loosechange out for a donut then telling him he could stay because the spinner had bowled a no-ball was the turning point, Australia *should* have been 2 fa fuckall and up against the wall yet again at that point but they're making the most of their luck.

Aus back to rabbit mode - if they sit back India will love just picking them off - no strike rotation to put the bowlers off.

^Exactly. They've got to score at 5+ per over or at least get out trying to do so.

Smith has a little charge with fours instead of working the ones and predictably perishes - Jadu bet his house on the outcome

Eng having their own troubles against spin in Bang chasing a paltry 210 to win, 45-3.

Good effort from the aussies, tbf.

The approach under this temporary captain seems much improved.

Malan's going to have to score most of these on his own by the looks.

4/156 is a bit disappointing after reaching the century with only one down. But over the whole day and on this pitch not too bad at all.

    England win by three wickets.

That's not going to be the hardest man of the match award ever picked.

Aus have a good lead but it could have been more, innings ended with a bit of a whimper

^At least Gary got out attempting a slog-sweep for 4 but screwing it up and being clean bowled, unlike the other fucking flakes who also got clean bowled while trying to block the ball and missing it by about 10 inches

^ they could have got a 100+ lead if they'd given it a tonk - after Green went, i'd have said to them go out there and get 10 to 15 runs each. Hanscomb was way too tentative imo, although it was a useful partnership with Green.

    'Try and score runs'.

    A cunning plan, there.

It genuinely does my fucking head in! Walking out onto a pitch like this as a tail-ender, they might as well give them a blindfold and cigar because it's the toughest test in cricket and none are expected to survive more than a few deliveries. So why in the name of Jesus H fucking Christ would you not go out swinging and treat it like you've just walked out into the middle during the last over of a T20 and needing 20+ runs?
