Ponting reckons MCC members were queuing up at 3am for their seats.

What on earth can the stumpy fool be on about?

Does he think it's the Bourbon and Beef Steak?

You can't make such a claim without pictorial proof...

I've got tickets for the Lancashire v Yorkshire T20 slog tomorrow night and have been really looking forward to it.

Given the great weather we've had, what could be better than a balmy summer's night watching the red rose county putting the tight tykes to the sword while enjoying a few pints?

Predictably, we're unlikely to see an hour without rain tomorrow and the pitch will likely be waterlogged by fucking teatime.

It's funny coming back to this to find that landreth is desperately trying to find some shit to post about rounders so his name stays at the top.

Can you fit any of those "things" in while posting almost 92,000 times on Teakdoor?

You're the second one to whine about that today.

Most of those posts came when I was gainfully employed.

    Now I'm retired, it's just a trickle.

Not a single ball was bowled, but that does mean I'll get the 140 quid I shelled out on tickets back.

One last look at the hallowed turf for the evening.

And home the crowd goes (having still spent plenty of dough in the bars under the stands).

Fortunately for England, it's almost as grim today.

The weather is looking good for Friday and Lancashire are beating Surrey in the 1/4 finals!

20 quid a ticket. Rude not to at that price, isn't it?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Lancy Lancy, Lancy Lancy Lancy Lancy Lancashire!

It's on Sky Sports Cricket. Looks like a lovely place to sit down with a beer, and the home support are in full voice.

Well Scotland won easily and I suspect Ireland may just edge victory over the mighty, er, Nepal.

Had time to catch up on Birmingham Bears v. Essex Eagles in yesterday's T20 Vitality Blast. The Bears hit 167 and Essex were cruising before they fell apart. As an Essex man it was a nervous final over as Essex had their numbers 10 and 11 batting, needing 3 runs from the last 2 balls. Then Snater hit a six and Essex won by 2 wickets. Essex only made it to the quarters with a six on the last ball at The Oval last weekend, it's getting to be a habit. Now they go through to the semi finals on July 15th.
