No play, they're going to do an inspection in about 15 minutes.

I don't reckon there will be any play today, started to rain again, nd it was too wet before the rain came... Fuk me, I might be forced to watch the dennis...
Inspecting again at 15:00 BST, they need a minimum of 20ovs a side for it to count.
The Aussies must be keeping their fingers crossed that the rain keeps coming...
Defaulting on a 5-0 whitewash....bloody criminals!...
I can't see why they couldn't have played...
Just use tennis balls - they float.Originally Posted by harrybarracuda

Australia with a poor start, slow run rate and just lost a wicket. 6-1 after 5 overs or so.
But, it was on referal; how could the umpire give it NOT OUT? It was hitting middle stump and pitched up...
Same, next ball... On a hatrick now. 6-2. Finn double.
Cricket is a beautiful game.
(Not if you're an Aussie...)
Clarke is one lucky mofo not to touch that... good ball.
Clarke is trying to play positively, doing okay; the Aussies will be needing these 2 to hang around, me thinks.
Potatoes...

Botham "he just dropped a dolly!"
^ we would've caught that...
Broad & Bresnan have let it slip, not bowled as well as they should've...
On the BBC website...with 14 overs gone:
Live Scores - England v Australia
Scores will update automatically
England: Yet to bat
Australia: Yet to bat
Australia are in trouble again 166/7 with less than 5 overs to go.
Wonder if the weather will play a part?
^ the weather is supposed to brighten.
It's a shame Johnson isn't playing because he gets England off to a flying start... If we start going at 5 runs an over for the first 5-10 overs then it should be easy after that. Australia need to keep it very tight early and hope to pick up 2 or 3 wickets.
200 won't be enough.
Cycling should be banned!!!
Finn 10 overs 4/37 and he's not even first choice.
Sweet.
Spot on guesstimate Betty....conditions may not improve enough to favour a batting side...It will need a steady first few overs from England to win this with ease....
Yep, the start will be very important, the run rate so that pressure doesn't build up...
The Aussies did quite well to get to 200; at one stage it looked like 150.
Ticking along, ahead of the run rate. 36/0 9 overs.
Yep, LT is lurking but feels too depressd to comment; understandable...
Aussies have used 8 "bowlers" now...without much luck. Perhaps Wade will be the ninth...with or without gloves....
70 runs still required and only have 18 overs and 9 wickets left....
OK Tennis and F1 finished, and I'm fed up watching flash floods.
So, 150 up, weather looking a bit gloomy, England need 51 of 13ovs, but this is a shoo in even on Duckworth Lewis unless the convicts can find some more wickets.
Trott's got his 50, Bopara's got the luck of the Irish, 37 off 53 required.
