Truly masterful driving on Max's part. Looking forward to the start of the race.

Sainz got a penalty for impeding Lewis during qualy. As a result of which, Liam and Yuki start side by side on row 7. Turn 1 could get tasty.

All a bit of a procession really. I did laugh at Piastri saying "I think I should swap with Lando because I think I can get Max".

The reply should have been along the lines of "Well if you think you can get Max, why the fuck can't you get Lando!".
The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth

It was a procession, the battles that might have been never played out. The tyres were the hardest available, so no one showed any tyre wear. The rain never fell, it seemed like it was always wet here.
Antonelli was impressive, the only one of the rookies to look like an F1 driver, he was driving away from Lewis in the last few laps. Hoping for a better race next time.

Let's not forget Hadjar and Bearman, who both had excellent drives, too.

    Albon never stopped moaning.

Mercedes gave Antonelli a brand new Mercedes AMG GT 63 S, but he can't drive it in Italy for another three years.
He only passed his driving test in January!

Well that's what is described as a "schoolboy error".

George Russell and Kimi Antonelli have been given one-place grid penalties for leaving their garages too early during qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Russell will now start Sunday's race in Sakhir from third behind pole-sitter Oscar Piastri and Charles Leclerc, with Pierre Gasly in fourth and Antonelli in fifth.

"A statement from the stewards explained: "The team representative, Mr Shovlin, in evidence stated that he gave the instruction for the cars to be released in error having misinterpreted the message posted on page three of the timing screen - 'estimated restart time' - to be a message advising the actual restart time."

    Well he's definitely shovlin something

When he asked if he could start in front of Antonelli, he was told Nein.

Poor old Lando, whizzes up to third then gets a five second penalty for a false start.

As George says, 24 laps on a soft is a hell of a gamble. He's going to want to get past Piastri really quickly and try and get out of DRS range methinks.

Sir Lewis goes on Hard, he really likes that tyre!

Oh dear, George may have opened DRS when he shouldn't have.

Mind you, Pepe's isn't even working.

Oscar wins again! Russell holds off Norris.

    Piastri
    Russell
    Norris
    Pepe
    Sir Lewis
    Mad Max

Bahrain will be a bit annoyed about the gremlins I'm sure.
