If you spun it right, Wenger was falling about laughing. But it's Arse Moaners on Wednesday. That will be interesting.

My favourite game of the season normally arse man u. Always a great advert for the game. They both have a point to prove Wednesday and shocking defences to boot. Promised myself i wouldnt sit up til stupid oclock again watching that shower o shite, cant miss that though. The worst thing though is out of the top 4 its the gooners id like to see crowned

seems humiliation doesn't work with him.
United spank £37m on one of the leagues best number 10's and pump 80 crosses into the Fulham box. That's Moyes for you, clueless.![]()
would liverpool be in their current league position if they'd played euro football of any description? i doubt it

yip they were indeed.

I am enjoying watching a resurgent Liverpool. Playing a nice brand of football and scoring freely.
Well done Mr Rodgers, keep up the good work.
It is fair.
The doubts have shifted focus after that shambles, and Moyes lack of tactical sophistication is very much in doubt.
He no longer looks a decent man for a job that is merely proving more difficult than expected.
He looks like someone who's level might just be a 'difficult to beat' mid table team and no better.
And if he thinks that's as bad as it can get then I think he's in for a surprise. It'll be much worse when the crowd turns on him, which can't be far away.
He's high as a kite. Which is higher than the last three SpaceX rockets got.
^can you come back to AF? Kl is slowly killing me on the footy thread
hehe moronrinho drops points. precisely why i hope they dont win the title - why have a team that cost zillions if you're just going to try and defend a 1-0 lead?
Not giving Albion much credit there.
They left Chelsea with little choice but to defend and fully deserved a point.
Chelsea will be happy they didn't lose at the Hawthorns for the third time in a row.
yep, the rent boys were hanging on at the end. strange decision to senf cahill baco on near the end though

The only answer is the 'ignore' button.
I expect he'll be sacked pretty soon. The way they played against Fulham was pathetic.Originally Posted by cyrille

One man who had no stake in whether he succeeded or failed.
That has to be a mistake.
Always.
To be fair to Moyes he did inherit a lot of dead wood. With two or three exceptions the rest of the squad was past its sell by date or not fit for purpose.
Ferguson did not produce instant success when he first took over and he did not face the billionaire backers of Chelsea, City and Liverpool as competition either.
He was more or less obliged to spend over the odds on one player in the January window.
You might be right and Moyes has been promoted beyond his abilities, but let's see the rest of the season before condemning him totally.
Heart of Gold and a Knob of butter.
Given that he is widely accepted as a Ferguson appointee, I would think he has a fairly major stake in his success or failure.Originally Posted by cyrille

Oh come on - Ferguson had pedigree. Don't talk about competition, he took Aberdeen and overtook the Old Firm!
And he won European trophies as well.
Moyes won the 2nd Division title with Preston FFS.
He simply does not have the same pedigree, and that's why most people think he's out of his depth, including many (realistic) Man Utd fans.
Sorry Harry I should have made it clear. I meant when he took over at a real football club in England. If you count Scottish Football as a pedigree you might as well [at][at][at][at] his subuteo successes.
As I said, he may well fail but IMHO it's too early to tell. I am no Man U fan by the way.
