Dirk, that spread looks great. If you've never used cole slaw as a condiment on pulled pork, I'd recommend giving it a try.

A steak from Thai French Beef I bought at Villa in Udon and marinated in JW Black Label. It tasted pretty good to me, especially after a Thai steak I bought locally a couple of weeks ago that was as tough as old boots.

Just veg to go with it, I've been staying off the carbs recently, not that it has done anything for my weight.

That is certainly a mouth watering looking meal Troy!!

I am sure you know that not all carbs are created equal , it is a good idea to pay attention to their glycemic index of them , and also Thai street food that is loaded with sugar, and all the rice and starch. since I started doing so a month ago, my weight went from 172 lb to 164 lb. and I have to wear a belt to keep my pants up..
also meal sizes are important, depending on how much one eats one can gain weight on a vegetarian diet. (spiking from experience LOL)

^ I'm doing well with fresh meat and veg, the problem is the wine and whisky I've been drinking with my meals. It means I am more or less the same weight as I was before Christmas.

I used to quite like Thai French beef. At least, until I discovered Paleo Robbie that is...

The candle is a homage to my father and best mate who passed away last year. Skull because I like it and the smoke brought the 2 together.

I don't walk in and pick tattoos off the wall, it's been 12 years since my last one, which is a half sleeve Pink Floyd collage.

    There will be many more.

Sorry to hear that, very painful to lose someone so close.

Troy I have the same problem also My Dad developed old age diabetes in his late sixties, and could not even have a drink. he also loved his bread. It did not turn out well for him
Knowing that there is a family I am trying to not suffer the same fate. So I am trying to pace my self and be in it for the long run.
Keep an eye on your sugar my friend and stay safe.

If it's not a giveaway the bodies under it certainly are.

That steak was bleeding and got absolutely murdered too.

It looks bloody good, but there's a disturbing lack of fries on that plate!

    Taco night

Keeping with the "Mexican" meal, washed it down with a San Miquel Blanco. Also cracked a new bottle of Habanero Tabasco sauce which added some fire to them.

Having survived most of this trip on stir fry with prawns, pork, or chicken, the wife felt sorry for me and bought some potatoes.

Anyway, after a long day picking and sorting flowers on the farm (I'll have to start a thread about the changes to our family small holding) I didn't fancy spending a long time cooking.

Chicken in mushroom and white wine sauce with spinach.

Wife was impressed and filled up a plate too.

Tonight we had to stop by our bar, I mean restaurant, after the gym/kids footy practice/other kid's nursery so we just ate there.

I opted for my favourite of all the yams. Yam Moo Yor. Spicy Vietnamese sausage salad.
