Gruel
^ is that one of those pies Mendip serves his pooches
ps i've noticed the lack of chicken lately, assume you've decimated the local population.
It was indeed and was nasty. The just chicken one. It even had a non halal sticker on it so God or Allah rather knows what is in there.
Bogon tip97644. Never add greek yoghurt to mash potato.
The garlic bread was nice
Oh dear....
As it continues.
^^ Never eat the chicken ones... only the Steak and Kidney.
Those peas look a bit washed out as well. Are they tinned...? should stick to proper frozen ones.
It's fish every night here cos our new little starving puppy loves it. Salmon fish cakes with home-made ratatouille. The bread was OK.
^ Very Swanky
^ Not as swanky as the littlun's pudding.
Chocolate lava cake with ice cream! Microwaved to perfection.
Kids were getting bored of Roast Lamb manwiches, so decided to try something new.
Choppped up the lamb. Chucked the bones into a pot and boiled them for a few hours, then used the broth to mix up a red wine reduction and gravy, some mushrooms, garlic, onion, and the meat.
Turned it into a lamb meat lasagne - we had a candle lit dinner and by that time I'd finished the red wine and forgot to turn on the lights for a proper photo.
Got enough for lunch again today as well.
*burp*
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink
No McDelivery here, but the local option is better
Creamy lemon salmon pasta for dinner tonight. Kids didn’t like it much.
Still sheltering in place – head cook hit the Moo Baan truck vendors this AM. Good haul today, a bakers dozen of nice sized goong for THB 150 plus a few days of fresh vegetables for another THB 150.
So, todays dinner is or was Rad Na Goong, dessert of mango, apple and melon.

Pie, mash, carrots, peas, brocolli, sauerkraut and gravy.
^ Now that looks like it would hit the spot, good stuff!
Nice variety on this page - all good stuff too.
Well, we are in Thailand. How about we have Thai cuisine this evening?
Did our weekly Makro run this AM. 8:30 AM and place was packed. Wife had to wait in line almost ½ hour to get ribs weighed and labeled. Ridiculously long line waiting to enter Makro when we left. Lots of folk stocking up on packing goods for their stalls/shops. Prepping for tomorrows openings. One BIL got his first THB 5k stipend today.
Dinner this evening, sprouts, tom yum plaa and ribs, on a bed of jasmine rice. Dessert will be assorted fruits. Standard fare for me. The pictures don’t do the meal justice. The wife is an excellent cook and the food never disappoints.

I believe Bowie is on top of the leader board in this stage of this marvelously well managed thread.
Motley perspectives will vary, Shirley.....
I'm too busy to cook just now, so tonight it was moo palor from the market. Our chickens supplied the eggs and our garden supplied the veggies.
I was instructed to take a pic mid-pour as my daughter was worried 'the internet people' would think she was drinking beer!
Some meat would have been nice... the tossers gave me nothing but fat. Won't be going there again.
the best taste is within the fat.

Delivery from the best Mexican taco place in town.
Pescado and camarones at the back; pastor, chicharron, carnitas, birria de res and campechano at the front.
^Did bsnub deliver that to you in the time slot?
