It looks good but why would you need that stuff when you could just make your own gravy with the drippings from the pan you roasted the chicken in?

If I was to go by what is posted here I would think the only cooks who make their own gravy from flour and drippings are the Yanks. The rest particularly the Ozzies and the Brits go for the "granules". I am not sure what they are..

When I was growing up, that was how my mum always did it.

Now, it is out with the granules. Sorry, its just not the same.

    ^Exactly the same.

I make gravy from the pan juice when roasting Lamb, but the granules make a better gravy than pan juice+flour when roasting chicken IMO.

So I went off to the self service garage to do some work on my ride. I do not know if you have those outside the US but it is a fully kitted garage with a lift and tools. You rent time by the hour and do the work yourself. Anyway my appointment was right at dinner time and so after the work was done I was famished so I went to a local burger joint and smashed this along with some fries...

I don't know much about food but I know what I like. And this was right up my street. Washed down with two big Leo's by the beach in Samed.

    The Tesla?

What mods have you done on it? What do you think of the charging infrastructure in the US, is it easy to always find places to charge if out on a country drive?

    Damn fine looking burger btw.

    I don't own a Tesla. I drive a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 pickup.

In this area there are tons of places to charge them and they are all over the place here in Seattle. Tesla's basically grow on trees here.

On a scale of 1 to 10, adding in a rainy night (at this time of year ffs??!!) and a ridiculous amount of pre Christmas drinks leading to a strong need for piss-head scoff to take home, it's a 14

^ That's some serious heartburn in the middle of the night, that is.

    I'd still smash them though.

^Oddly enough, I use to get heartburn really badly years ago - to the point of never going out without fix-that-shit tabs in my pocket, but never get it now *touches timber*. Still the best pies in Pattaya by a lengthy margin, #totallyworthit.

I've been banned from the drinking thread! Damn it. I helped you put that one on the map. I've a half jig of Makers Mark and I'll be damned if it will last a night.

So yea, leftovers till the girl comes back.

followed by steak, it was well done as is normal in Mongolia- looking forward to a medium rare in Blighty next week. It was pretty tasty though
