If it makes you feel better I like lamb medium well.

I really couldn't care how people cook and eat thier meat. I made a remark on the manwiches thread and since then everyone seems to think I am some sort of over cooked nazi.
I didn't honestly believe my comment would stir up so many responses.
As I said before each to their own as long as they enjoy eating meat it at least means they are not a brain dead vegan.
That is the problem with barstool conversations. You have the teeth of an omnivore. You do not have the right teeth to live off grass, which takes much greater grinding capacity, and you do not have the teeth of a carnivore.
Evolution has given you exactly the right teeth for what you are.
Its my understanding (and I have been wrong many times) that our brains developed due to the extra protein in our diet gained from eating meat.
Hopefully those who choose not to eat meat will regress and be satisfied with living in a paddock eating grass.
My missus has a favourite saying she uses whenever I ask her what will we do if we run out of money, she says, "we will have to be like the cows and learn to eat grass".
Oh dear.
Actually, we're hardwired to be naturally omnivorous -
...and vacant of fashionable social/political schemes as it seems to be among those ideologically extreme circles.
What we aren't designed to be is taking in artificially processed/hybrid/invented fodder that has been promoted to be consumable, as it is, also, not in our DNA to psychologically "over eat" - a long time conditioning aspect.
'Tis wonder why particular populations are so sickly.
So there.....

I'm sure i could find some if i wanted to go looking but I just don't bother.
I live in Buriram province but 70 km from Buriram City. There's a Tesco in Nang Rong or a Big C in Nong Ki and I go to Korat often.
I also go to Buriram for my Immigration matters so I think I could probably find them at Makro there.
Truth is I am quite happy eating whatever my Missus decides is on the menu, so not usually western type food more the Thai style and she knows what I like and how spicy to make it for me. We spent nearly 9 years together in Australia so she knows how to cook that style of food. However saying that she used to complain about the smell of sheep meat (lamb, hogget or mutton).
If I want a steak it is usually pork as I haven't yet found any good beef here and because I like it well cooked it would be more tough than ever.
I have a German friend here and he is astounded when I tell him I am happy to eat rice everyday.
So when I seen your picture of those lamb chops I was envious just for a little while.
^ Just in case you ever change your mind ootai...

Sorry jeff, but completely wrong. We are, genetically, hunter gatherers. We are exactly programmed to over eat - when we could get it. The problem is, while we are evolutionarily designed for glut famine cycles, there is no famine cycles nowadays (for developed population). It is all glut, and that is what screws us.
This is the reason fatty, high carb, salty foods are what we crave. Written into our dna.
