    Funny Story.

I took my wife to CM to get her Arbor deal for her rose garden. On the way out I stopped at the Maya Mall and went to the Rimping store. I went to the meat department as they always have top quality dry aged beef. They had a beauty Loin Strip slab there and I asked the guy to cut me off a 2" thick Loin. The guy looked at me with huge eyes like WHAT?. He confirmed with my wife. So he pulled it out and started to cut a small sliver. I said NO....Thicker so he kept moving the knife until I said PERFECT.

I'm Merkin and we love us a FAT ass NY steak cooked medium. I hand rubbed this with herbs and let it come to air for about 45 minutes. I got the BBQ up to about 375 did a quick sear then reduced heat slow cooked on the Q.

Ahhh Yes. Man was that thing DEEEEEEEELICIOUS!!!!. I accompanied it with some veggies and a nice big baked potato. Great thing is, my wife does not eat beef so I savored every bite.....

Yup, I'm an American too and when it comes to my meat I love a good rubbing. Money's no option. Butt curious, how much do you pay for that?

Comes down to personal preference I guess. Just like with sweet corn...so many going on about sweet corn on the grill. I've tried it several times now but prefer it boiled in a pot of water.

I pull down the leaves add salt, pepper and smoky paprika with butter and then pull the leaves back up and let them cook...it's my favorite way.

Have done it husks on and husks off...still like it better in the boiling pot. To each his own.

Will say with husks off and buttered you have to watch it like a hawk. You'll have blackened corn in a heartbeat.

Couldn't be lazier to cook this afternoon after getting back from a long walk. So these went into the oven for 30 minutes which is the same time it takes me to shower & cool down & get a hunger up for some lean meat and veg.

    Dinner-20180709_172016-jpg

Then with some secret sauce (Hellmans mayo, hot chili sauce, sweet chili sauce).

    Thank Foodland!.

Matter of taste and available variety, ain't it...
There are types of crab the world over that put your beloved Dungeness to shame.

Need to get out more from your isolation, Snubby...

It's zucchini alright AO, and Foodland in Pattaya always has it. Another one of those veg - like Sprouts - that people are divided on but I like it as long as it's not boiled or steamed.

Doubt he can name any. I have eaten crab from all over the world and frankly I have found that the warmer the water the worse the crab tastes. I can provide citations...
