Shit I am drunk mates. This is an old school pizza place in Seattle. I did not even rotate the pic.
Northlake Tavern & Pizza | Italian Restaurant Seattle, WA
To many IPA's and pizza.
Just a note.
Noticed how this wonderful thread has suffered with Luigi's absence/restrictions.

Was in my old neighborhood that I grew up in yesterday and decided to stop in to Northlake Tavern for lunch... we ordered two side salads one large pizza and a Diet Coke. We split the pizza 50-50 with 1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 sausage and pepperoni. We were shocked when she handed us the bill that was 56 dollars and some change. They charged almost $4 for each topping on both sides of the pizza even though there were only two toppings on each side. With tip it was 65 Plus what a pleasant surprise for lunch we should have gone to Dick's. Never going back. If you're ever in Lake Stevens check out contos pizza much better!
Man.....the ONLY thing standing in the way of this pizza being THE BEST I've ever had in Seattle [at]is that lousy, Totino's cardboard style crust they are using. It's almost a crime. Has it always been like that? I made a special trip because I'm never out that way but I thought- it's worth it and I've got to try this legendary joint out at least once before I die. But I tell you, if they made a good, homemade chewy crust with toppings exactly as they do now they would be second to none. Ah well, I hope to hear in the future they make the adjustment so I can go back. There's just no way I'm going to pay those prices again for that crust.
I really wanted to like this down to earth place. The staff is very friendly, and I love the laid back customer base and ambiance. Trivia guy was cool, too.
The prices are suspiciously high for average food. They have a limited menu and all sorts of rules, like "Absolutely no substitutions!" Toppings are outrageously priced. The beer is average. Overall, we paid way too much and endured too many demanding rules to make it worth returning.
I used to come in years ago and this place was great. I don't know what the hell happened. I came in a couple weeks ago and the prices, already fairly high, have been jacked big time, like you're paying $23 for a small pie. The waitress dropped menus and asked if I wanted anything to drink, so I said let me look at the menu a minute. Once I was ready she and her coworker proceeded to completely ignore me. I just got up and left.
Screw you guys. I don't know if you're trying to run this place into the ground or what (and given you had a lot of bros and kids there you're not doing a good job of that if that's your intent), but I can't support a restaurant that thinks they need to show somebody up like that for no good reason.

One dollar for a pint of beer and 3.50 dollars for a pitcher?
^ Indeed it is..
If you like to drink Pabst Blue Ribbon. It is hipster piss. Me and the lads had three pitchers of this;
Ninkasi Brewing - Total Domination
My buddy is the local sales manager for them and we used to work together many years ago.
Hipster....?
Steak! It came a little too well done for my liking, German chef on a visa run so it was the local chef for the evening service. The garlic butter was on point, the steak was still tender and full of flavor, so not really a big moan.
Decent midrange Bordeaux to go with and a rich chocolate mouse for afters made for a solid weekend meal. Less than $40 per person, which I think is something of a bargain.
Bistro 82 if you're ever in town.
Erm yes as it happens I have been abstaining. To cut a short story long there was some pressure from her indoors to exercise so I bought a mountain bike. That was going great for most of the month' of July and hi found myself leaping out of bed even before sun up to don an ill fitting pair of spandex and cycling jersey. . Was feeling tip top until some drive by amphetamine afflicted fuckers attempted a bag snatch sending me sprawling to the tarmac.and breaking my arm. Good thing it wasn't the important arm or I would of really been fucked. Fuck the exercise. To damn dangerous, im staying a large nammal.
I'd gladly get pissed and feel safe-ish with Slaps and Man Boobs!! And eat pizza and drink a posh box of wine!! Not one of those cheapy ones, sort of in the middle price!! I do have etiquette.
I actually thought you lot had gone on some sort of odd fast!! A man fest in some forest, no ladies allowed!! Finding yourselves!! Or just feeling fat!! No posts on Dinner for a few days!!
Those lamb shanks look lovely, how long do you cook them for? I know that they need to be cooked for a long time, and am too lazy to google Jamies latest.
Me, tonight, beef burger, salad and lots of lovely fresh bread and a fried egg. Vite fais, bien fais. Translation - quickly done, well done.
Bon Appetit!!
