    Two obvious points here :

    (i) pizzas were baked as squares so as to utilise the maximum cooking space in the oven,

(ii) the square pizza, pictured above, is served on a round plate in accordance with proper standards of human decency and dignity.

There is nothing wrong with pizza per se , the problem lies with muppets using the wrong crockery.

No. It means you like a larger dose of bacteria than the ceramic plate using person.
Don't be such a fanny Marmers. If it was remotely unhealthy do you thing Michelin starred restaurants would be allowed or would choose to do it?

I spent as much time on my reply as your drivel warranted.

Where is there an ounce of logic in suggesting that putting food on to a piece of wood after you've cooked it, is more lazy and disorganised than putting it on a plate?

It's a known fact that we eat with our eyes. Food being visually stimulating is very important to us enjoying a meal. Professionals seem to think that chopping boards are a visually pleasant way to serve food and I tend to agree with them. But you know better than professional chefs and restaurateurs don't you can123.

^ That 'flange' looks like it's been involved in an RTA...or a Ghananian gang rape.

True. Your burger looks like the sort of overpriced crap that only an idiot would buy. Somtamslap has got it right.

^^ It was a random photo off the interweb and nothing to do with me.

It was an example of how food looks pleasant and rustic when served on a board.

The fact your best answer was to try and belittle me for buying something that was actually a random photo from Google says it all.

    Try again marmite.

^ What are you talking about, do you even know?

I posted a random photo of food taken from Google to show food on a wooden board. The most mature and grown up way you could manage to discuss it was by saying I was an idiot for buying the burger. Not only was it complete bull shit anyway because the burger looked fine, but it backfired because it wasn't even me who ordered it.

    Try again marmite.

It's the psychedelic table mat that's worrying me. And the condom thing that's lying on top. Is that a bit of fish?

Eating off a wooden board is good. I have done it numerous times and am still alive to say that i shall repeat the process numerous times.

Both in posh restaurants and also at home.

I hate to break it to you PC but we're wrong. Marmite said so, so it must be true.

He also told me a while back that I was wrong for liking Corona beer. The guy knows his stuff.

I sleuthed my way to the conclusion that both Nigel and indeed Jan are southpaws some year or so ago. You must pop into the thread more often, Canmeister...
