    Currently enjoying a Whiskey diet.

1 part single-malt, 1 part water. Hits the spot.

Khao Kai Jeaow gap Tom Kah Gai was on the table when I got back from my Friday massage this evening, bless.

Got the makings of a BLT in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. Watch this space.

    Lightly toasted baguette with mayo.

B + T + Basil and oregano + freshly ground black pepper + Mayo (again).

    + L

Served with large mug of Earl Gray.

Then repeated as at 8 or 9 inches it wasn't large enough for the current hangover.

No innuendos about that last line please.

Satonic, I will reply, it looks like shit, most of his cooking does. Unless he cuts and pastes it and had nothing to do with the cooking, He has trouble even focusing the camera.

    Yuck.

Very astute there bsnub, a lot of the best curries are British inventions including the famous Balti which I intend to cook here soon.

The wife cooked up some phad nam prik pao with shrimp and squid today.

    The raw ingredients:

A little basil from the garden:

    The finished product:

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I must say that looks like the sandwich that I bought at 7/11 on the way home after a night on the piss. I then barfed on top of it. The next day I threw it in the trash. Disgusting.

    ^ Nice spuds.

No innuendos on that one either, please.

A quick n slop-ish Shepard's Pie here. Served with sliced Baguette with cheddar, tomato and drizzled with olive oil.

Given the slop-ish and lazy manner in which it was made it was surprisingly moreish.

Lunch for tomorrow once I knock up an accompanying salad.

It reminded me of a little Thai place near me that serves teddy bear shaped rice.

I was gonna comment, but held back.
