Sorry about the photo quality, I'm using my phone as my camera seems to enjoy hiding from me.

^ Kebabs, How do you make yours MTD?

My brother sent me a picture of his dinner last night (Bastard knows how much I miss the 'elephant leg' kebabs on the way home from the pub back home!)

Top marks for your chicken dinner Satnav mate ,, did you make the yorkie ?

Your roast spuds are to die for , just how I like em .

The only thing for me would be to swim more gravy on the plate ,, but thats just a personal choice ,

As you know we are a bit behind you , but my meat is in the oven 4 hours @ 140 today a beautiful 2kg topside joint sitting on a bed of onions , slowly roasting away .

    Be back later
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

^ Yep it was a bit of a half hearted attempt to be honest with the gravy Was feeling lazy today. I normally like it swimming too.

Yes, I like my yorkies. Sometimes I make a large one and serve the roast in it. I think I have a pic of a roast beef I made like that I'll have a look. I also sometimes make and a cup of gravy to dip them in just as a snack.

Edit - found a (bad) pic of the roast beef - Just before filling it with gravy

I just shout "kebabs for tea tonight, love" and they miraculously appear a little while later.

I think the chicken was marinated in a natural yoghurt and shwarma spice mix and the pork in a salt and lemon combo. She cooked them over hot coals on the barbie. The aubergine, peppers and onion was also bbqd, coated in a bit of olive oil and then drizzled with balsamic vinegar. She did some potato wedges in the oven with a light coating of oil and I drowned them in salt & vinegar before scoffing. The pitta bread was homemade as all our bread is.

    Drool.... Sounds lovely

I need to get out side and use the BBQ more actually, I might give something like that a go during the week.

    We have 3.

The potato wedges were done in a little convection oven.

Pork Carnitas (thanks Satonic) A bottle of JW and a bottle of Dewwars (Thanks Jonnie and some Scottish dude) and The Godfather Part 1 (Thanks Pacino)

If anybody can think of a better Sunday them please let me know.

I couldn't get any Taco seasoning mix at max value so I made my own from this recipe.

    • 1/4 cup instant minced onion
    • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    • 2 tsp. paprika
    • 2 tsp. crushed dried red pepper flakes
    • 1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    • 1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
    • 1 Tbsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    • 1 Tbsp. instant minced garlic
    • 1 tsp. ground cumin
    It tasted great.

The rest of the awesome meal. Thanks Satonic (And ultimately AO)

The corn tortillas that the wife bought were fucking gross. It was much better with potato salad and pork. Stick with the flour tortillas that I asked her to buy when she went to the shop and always try to limit the decisions that they have to make when they are out on their own.

Nice one FP a man after my own heart ( remote on table )

Anyway apologies for my forgetfulness today ,, a classic English roast ruined by a nagging Thai wanting her University grades converted into English equivalents ,, " can't it wait love ?? " total silence ,, so I guess that means a no ,, so I got diverted to piss around filling in online forms + printing em ,,,, not happy !

So here we are beautifully slow cooked tender roast topside with the veg ,, minus the forgotten yorky puds !

Pork Carnitas with Eggs on Toast for breakfast.

Is this legal and/or socially acceptable?

^ yeah it does look overvooked but in reality it was just right. It's probably my inability to use a camera that makes it look worse. But I do like my beef cooked, I'm not one that enjoys it still mooing on the dinner plate. (In the pic, apart from the yorkie, was the left overs from the day before reheated)

It was smothered in gravy soon after that pic too
